These two bit small time bastards had been celebrating us winning by thinking somehow it gets them an easier berth in the final. I was 100% sure we'd win at Villa Park like every other year and survive at home and they would crumble under the pressure if we met in the semis
Literally no Villa fans were doing that (unless ironically) you melon 😂

Every single Villa fan I know would rather have played Real in the semis (if we got that far and it was always a big if) because we think we’d lose to both teams and we’d rather go out to a non English team.

No chance. It looked like villa had 9 men last night.
Yep, felt like that too

I've never seen a team with such an intense and relentless press. Usually teams who press like that HAVE TO relent at some point because of how much energy it requires.

But PSG never did. Every time we got the ball they were swarming all over us

I've genuinely never seen anything like it

Yeah, they are a problem. My favourites to win it tbh.

If anything PSG will probably win by a couple of goals in the away tie as well. Villa have to go for it and PSG will absolutely feast on the space they will get

I felt that way in the home leg against Barcelona in 2010. I'd never seen anything like that. We must have had about 3% possession.

All the expectation in the media, among fans etc was that it would be a tight, cagey, tactical affair.

Somehow we escaped with a 2-2 draw, but yeah I'll never forget how that game made me feel.

I tend to agree. I think we have to go for it. And that will go one of two ways. Probably badly

Always possible. But I’ve only watched them 3 times this season and they’ve ben ****ing amazing every time 😂
It's as if they flipped a switch once 2025 hit. I've watched them regularly and they weren't anything special in the first half of the season, but at some point, everything started to click and now they're this well-oiled machine.

Coincidentally, Dembele and Doue also struggled at the start, but now they're two of the most in-form players in Europe. Them two leveling up their game, in addition to the signing of Kvara, has completely transformed them.

It goes without saying that scoring the first goal is a must from your perspective. PSG have been mentally frail and prone to collapses in the CL throughout the years (including that remontada in which these two managers might recall a thing or two), so there's a possibility they might get rattled if you get the first goal (although they handled Anfield as well as any side could).

Pacho has been great for them, but the likes of Marquinhos and Donnarumma have mistakes in them. However, the threat of their front three attacking open space is a worrying thought.

This is too funny: the PSG players look disgusted and the Villa players look mortified. Rashford probably doesn't notice because he's so used to the Europa
