Think we can survive without a new RB. A new CM will likely come in if Xhaka goes. We have bought Sambi & White can play there if needed.
Have to get players out but its really difficult at the moment to find cash buyers to buy our footballers.

Last season we completed more passes between our defenders than any team. Artetydont just want to pass at the back. He wants the defenders to keep possession and control the match from there which no defence can do. Defenders are not midfielders when it comes to passing the ball. So he need to stop with his ultra defensive style keeping the ball in our defence

Maguire/Varane > Stones/Dias > VVD/Konate > Kounde/Rudiger > White/Gabriel > Romero Rondon.

Only reason VVD/Konate aren't higher is because of fitness concerns of the pair (as well as Gomez when he comes in).

Tried and tested is obviously Dias and Stones, been very impressed with John Stones but when fit VVD and Konate are the best partnership there. VVD carried a trash defender like Lovren when they won the PL.

If VVD goes back to his form prior to his injury then he’ll carry that defence.
