Now that the price of sesko has skyrocketed there is 0% reason to buy him, at the same price as gyok it made sense perhaps to get the younger silkier player. But not for 30-40 mill more. That's an insane amount of pressure for a guy who still looks like he is finding himself.

Neither situation makes sense, so if the numbers are true, why is Sesko in the conversation?

Hopefully Arsenal know what they are doing here and have realistic, effective plans that we just aren’t aware of.

Alternatives, Gyokeres €70m but 27 years old. Sesko €90m and unproven. You rather spend 100m+ on someone you know it is guaranteed that he will improve the squad in many areas.
