We’ve barely seen movement from any of the big clubs yet, only free transfers. Not much seems in the pipeline either.

I think the period now is all about laying groundwork to complete deals when the Euros/Copa America are finished.
Some clubs have PSR issues and need to sell by the end of the month so there should be some movement in the next couple of weeks but broadly I agree with you, there's always a lull in the immediate buildup to and during the summer tournaments.

There will be a lull after as well when the players are on their holidays. Don’t really expect much to happen before mid July.

We'll start to hear of deals being agreed by then but they won't be official because the players won't have done their medicals.

Spending my Saturday watching his disaster class vs Bulgaria. Chelsea could do us a massive favour here.

Why did you give up?
Man Utd are also interested?
He has a choice of Conf/Europa or Champs league club

Perhaps it's coz Chelsea spend like a drunken sailor on shore leave & offer stupidly long contracts to young players? 🤔

Ras seems to like their model & obvs has a bit of a secret stiffy for Todd😜

I know @Rasmi is our BTEC GDeep, but I can understand his logic here.

These young players grew up on Chelsea success, either theirs or Man United's. So it would make sense of them being a starring player in their revival.

So I wouldnt be as confident that we have a clear run at these young players.

Yep. The name Chelsea carries weight that arsenal don’t. Also we have Edu. No one that has met him has been impressed

This is how you can tell the guy is just waffling for money. You very rarely ever hear of multiple teams activating the release clause because they've generally already agreed terms through the player's rep before completing that final step. It's only in the case of a weird pervert team like Chelsea who might not take no for an answer the first time that it could be an issue.

This player going to sign for Chelsea and give us nightmares for the next 10 years

Just like Haaland was somehow going to bully Saliba and Gabriel then ended up having 0.00 xG both home and away?

The way Twitter have overrated this fella and have people fooled is ridiculous. He might turn out to be a decent player but as of today he still has a lot of things to work on. Actually not bothered if he moves to Chelsea since I want ready made players and not potential.

Arsenal Quotes

In June 1996, David Dein, Peter Hill-Wood and Danny Fiszman came out to Nagoya to meet me on behalf of Arsenal. Within an hour we came to an agreement. The Japanese directors didn't try to keep hold of me in the usual way but talked with persuasive arguments... But as far as I was concerned, the decision was taken. Arsenal. A decision that would change my life.
