Yep but he’s 21 and if you can improve on those things. This is the definition of project. Does some good things, a lot of things that need to be refined

Yep, no problem with getting a project striker. As long as we sign an immediate difference maker or two aswell. But as things stand, it seems Sesko could be the marquee signing, which would be a disaster.

Reminds me a bit of Giroud, and I mean that as a compliment.
One of our most underrated players ever.

Tbh people on here just don't like tall players, as they usually just look a bit more laboring/clumsy.
Mertesacker, Giroud, Xhaka, Havertz have gotten so much irrational hate on this forum over the years.
I am a proud height supremacist. I just don't like sh*t tall players (or short ones). Weird how Gabriel, Saliba and Rice don't get any "irrational hate" because of their height. It's almost like it has nothing to do with that at all and everything to do with how you perform or don't perform.

Not gonna happen. We gonna hear the usual Arsenal wanted elite option and didn’t wanna just get anyone. Hence they chose to keep their powder dry. It’s the usual nonsense. Have we bought one top player in attack cutting this managers almost 6 years in charge? Slot gets Wirtz within his first 12 months

And thats why I don't understand these guys advocating for Sesko.

Lacazette score 40 goals before joining arsenal. In a harder league. Good thing from those Gyok highlights are his willingness to shoot in the box and put in those tap ins. The ones no one our squad will be near.

Gyok will definitely help. 12-15 goals is what we missed last season and what he will provide. Get it done and move on to the next position.

Gabriel is 1,90m, Saliba is 1,92m and Rice is 1,88m so they're not really super tall tbf. I remember I got laughed at for saying Mertesacker was our best CB by a mile way back. Only after he retired did people really appreciate how good he actually was. I don't think people dislike them because of their height though, it's mostly a combination of things and how they don't fit a certain individual's "eye test".

I for one thought Giroud was a brilliant striker, but not as the undisputed first choice. He would've been awesome as alternative to another striker who he could rotate and compete with. The same goes with Havertz. I think he's been brilliant as a CF for us, but he needs someone who can bring something else to the table.

They're tall by football standards. We're one of the tallest clubs in the league. Most teams don't have an average height at or over 6 foot. The point is that players are not being misjudged because they're lanky and kind of awkward. They're being judged because they aren't performing at the level required to win things. I can promise you that if Sekso comes here and turns into Zlatan, everyone will love him even if he looks a bit awkward.

I'd settle for him being the Slav Crouch if it meant no more Kai Havertz.

Think it's clear he's 1st choice and Gyokeres is a relative distant second.

The fact that Seskos camp is not talking/leaking much to the press, while Gyokeres and Sporting are battling over the narrative tells me all I need to know.

My only worry is we wait too long for either Leipzig or Sporting to drop their valuations to the point where we lose leverage because neither (Leipzig, mostly) will have time to strengthen their squad.

When you grow up on a diet of Vieira and Kanu you can’t just switch to donkey and tell yourself it tastes the same. It doesn’t.

Good. Can't be paying that sort of fee for him.
So it seems Leipzeig doesn't want to sell him?

There are so few clubs who can afford to pay more than 80 million pounds, and unlikely to be any who want to pay that for Sesko. They are going to try to string us along for most of the window.

Giroud was very very good as a target man. But 1 of the reason why some Arsenal supporters did not like him were becos he was slow. But he was very good in winning headers, link up and giving cute quick pass for 1-2.

For Kai .....ermm I will classified him as a striker Flamini, making a nuisance to the opponent. I appreciate his work rate, but his shooting/headers skills is not reliable for a FW.

Arsenal Quotes

An Arsenal fan, when you finish fourth, will say, “Hey, we’ve been in the top four for twenty years. We want to win the league!”. They don’t care that Manchester City or Chelsea have spent 300 or 400 million euros. They just want to beat them.
But if you finish fifteenth two years running, they will be happy if you finish fourth after that.
