There’s nothing to suggest we’re offering him a contract and he’s saying no?

We would've had informal talks on both.

Berta is extremely experienced, highly doubt he would allow it to get that.

Plus Arteta and the club are under a lot of pressure, it was a bit different the previous seasons.

We have glaring holes in our attack and they need to be addressed now. There is zero chance Arteta or Berta would allow us to end this window in such a vulnerable position.

We will definitely see some big signings in attack. I just don't think they feel pressured to cave into other clubs demands at the moment, and are taking at their own pace. It's frustrating, but I do get it.

The reason I initially wanted Sesko is because it was the clubs long term choice. It's not like I've done any personally scouting, I mean who's going to pay me for my time? But there will a limit of how long we can wait and when we have a striker who is almost begging to join us, we don't have to be traumatised if we move on from Sesko.
