Very weird, looked off in every aspect of his game.

Sure he'll bounce back for the next game, tho.

He'll bounce back. For whatever reason he just didn't have his usual zest and his passing was uncharacteristically loose which to be fair was the case for a few of our players, particularly in the first half. Bold of Mikel to take him off but ultimately a good decision and I expect a performance more in line with his usual excellent job against City. 1 bad performance out of 19 is certainly not a crime.

He seemed afraid to get near Rashford after the early yellow. Think he would've done fine if not for that, but Mikel was right to take him off at the half.

Something definitely looked off, not at the races at all. We're so fortunate to have him and tomi. Competition for places will bring out the best in players.
Tomi took a while to get up to speed, got absolutely rinsed twice by Rashford in 1 passage of play when he first came on but after that he was fine. Hope he gets a few more minutes to keep the rust away

First player White has really struggled against this season in Rashford.
Weā€™re going to need him to be able to handle Grealish.

He's looked exhausted too every game after world cup past 60th minute or so. Maybe need a rest

I think he was too worried about rashford movement to be fair rashford been in terrific form the yellow card made things worse for white if he wasn't booked mikel would've left him on pitch but im happy he didn't take risk considering white was one bad tackle away from red card.

To be fair, in the form he is, any fullback would struggle to contain Rashford.

He's got explosive pace, power & a hell of a shot. Nightmarish player to be up against.

Would love to repay United for the Van Persie theft seeing as he's yet to renew his contract!!

True and if you are on a yellow it's even more difficult.

Saw United fans slagging of Shaw but it's so hard to defend against Saka.

Nothing Shaw could've done would've altered the outcome. Saka in this form is lethal.

Still, Shaw got off lightly in comparison to the anger vented towards Wan-Bisakka

Tomi looked a lot more secure when he came on. Arteta must have been worried to take White off at HT. Thatā€™s not a normal substitution point for Arteta, even with yellow cards hanging over. Difficult decision for Arteta next game.

Bissaka completely lost Eddie. It wouldnā€™t have been hard to stay with him, Eddie only advanced about 5-10m after after Bissaka last glanced at him. He just switched off. Unforgivable on his salary.

Up against a in form opponent, not really at the races and walking the knife edge of being on a yellow.

I don't think Tomi fared much better but it was a good proactive substitution from Arteta to take him off.

He's regressed completely from the player most of us were pining to poach from Palace. A real shame.

Second game in a row he's been pretty poor in. I'm not sure Tomiyasu offers a great deal more in saying that but he's a bit tougher to beat as an FB, on the ball he offers nothing but White has been poor in that regard recently.

Him and Martinelli have really dropped off form wise over the last 2-3 games.

Arteta faces the headache now of either dropping both of them for Trossard and Tomiyasu in preperation for the City game, or backing them for another couple games.
