Probably the fact he got the contract before he fell apart this season.

If it wasn’t happening football wide I’d be more concerned (I am, but schedule reasons not Arsenal medical staff).

I see Wesley Fofana having surgery again for example. Maybe bigger squads or 2 starting quality players for the bigger prem clubs will become the norm rather than just City.

Jesus was never the most sturdy to begin with anyways. Will be interesting to see what becomes of Saka, Havertz and White who are all robust players with major injuries. Timber as well.

Timber is a walking miracle because his workload has been excessive coming back from ACL surgery.

I just hope he can make it through the last few weeks without something bad happening.

As for the broader workload, something is going to have to give. It's unsustainable. These guys are being run into the ground.

Beautiful to see, how often he overlaps Saka. Makes it much more difficult to defend Saka, if he gives him always the option.

I hope that he's still not quite fit yet and nothing else. Because I thought the same with Ode after his injury a long time, until he kept playing **** consistently.

This rushing back thing I don't believe it club have top level doctors and physiotherapy they won't rush back players because we have little options

Of course he looks massively rusty if he hasn't had much match fitness for weeks. Training is nothing compared to games on this level.

So every game will help him and should get back his fitness for the next season.

**** me can we quit this rushing back nonsense with every player? Ben White was available for selection for the Leicester game (15th of February), having had enough training before that game.

He first featured on March 4. How in the hell is that rushing him?
