If Ben wants to stay I’d keep him.
Avoid access squad rotation after the PL win.

Very good footballer who Arteta has seemed hellbent on trying to upgrade him and he’s kept doing the job.

Clearly lost his pace but otherwise he was still good imo.

He will struggle vs the pacey wingers but still should be serviceable

Seems to have lost a bit of edge defensively. Still such a classy player on the ball, and combines very good on the right side with pretty much everyone.

I know Timber has the numbers and the defensive skills over White but I for one like what Ben White gives us in attack way more. Always felt like this about the two, I hope we use them smartly instead of just playing Timber against everyone.

White is still quality but as long timber back fit he'll start he monster RB but White performances is encouraging and hopefully he stays fit

RB is a position now where rotation needs to happen based on the opponent.

Timber when we need to defend more, White when we need more in the final third.

Totally agree with this. That understanding Ødegaard, Saka and White have on the right hand side is a joy to watch. Timber rarely makes those run on the outside, more often than not he tucks in and plays as an inverted rb.

I think we underestimate Timber going forward he might be mid at times but he just monster he'll help Rice to dominate more and go forward Timber had 6 assists last season in league

More about how Timber plays than just numbers.

Ode, him and Saka get in each others way a lot and he overlaps a lot less (or at least a lot less effectively) than White.

As others have said, this should be about the team we're facing.

Think White brings the best out of Saka and Odergaard, while we should probably take the hit on our on the ball technical level if we need someone to completely shut down the opposition winger like Timber does.

White is an exterior facilitator. Timber is an interior one.

They’re both very good, people just prefer the look of White curving a run on the outside of Saka.

But as you said, Timber got 6 assists last season.

He prefers to underlap and get into the box on the inside and White prefers to do it on the outside.

And as good as Ødegaard looks with White and Saka, it’s fair to say we haven’t seen Ødegaard at his best when Timber’s also fit and firing.

I love both options.

Arsenal Quotes

The only moment of possible happiness is the present. The past gives regrets. And future uncertainties. Man quickly realised this and created religion. It forgives him what he has done wrong in the past and tells him not to worry about the future, as you will go to paradise.
