We saw glimpses of the old Benny Blanco. Hopefully he builds on this and stays fit. Timber needs his support to ease games off him.
Yeah his situation is starting to get concerning now.
People say it's being alarmist but he's looked physically diminished sadly in the few appearances he's made. There's being rusty with the ball which is totally understandable but looking like you're running in lead boots every single time out since returning from injury is worrying. It feels very much like what we were witnessing with Jesus. I really hope he can find some fitness and form both for his sake and Timber's.I'm a little bit concerned at how little he's played. I would have thought he'd feature *a lot* more in a week when we have 3 away games, two of them to promoted teams in the PL (although I do understand that Sunderland are different gravy).
Heard in one of the latest ArsenalVision podcasts the suggestion he might never reach his 23/24 level again, because due to Timber‘s ACL he‘d had to play through quite a significant knee injury for months.
That somehow matches with his recent sub performances, he looks as if he‘s managing something, not trusting his body.
What a letdown that would be, if he never reaches his level. Sure, pushing out Timber is nigh on impossible now but why he couldn‘t replace him vs Slavia is a mystery to me.
I'd say he played because he decided to, I don't think that's entirely down to the manager. Anything else would be quite something. That would mean that Arteta destroyed his career.

What about medical staff? The manager decides who will play.
....yeah, based on player and medical staff feedback surely. The manager decides who will play.
Timber is a better CB as well as RB. But it's great we have him backGreat timing for him to return. We may need him at CB for a bit.
