Don’t think it’s that unlikely to say Fulham could end up making a profit here.

Good season and maybe he parts ways back to Germany.

Great signing by Fulham to be fair. Getting a PL-proven keeper like Leno for £8 million is very good business for a newly promoted side.

On Peter Crouch's podcast, they asked Ramsdale which players were the teacher's pet...he said Ødegaard and Cedric, but then Aaron ended up talking about all the individual training he got from Arteta after he signed.

Crouch then said..."I bet if we asked Leno that question, you would be right bang at the top of his list"

Good luck to him...think he is selling himself a little short with this move though, easily could be adding a relegation to his CV, shouldn't have limited himself to just London.

Fulham are a good club, but he could have done better,

Very good shot stopper. Fairly timid personality ( can't be having that in a keeper) on pitch and isn't great with his feet, big cross flapper too. He'll be good for Fulham but let's not pretend Leno is top class or anything.

The whole defensive unit looked way more solid and united the moment Ramsdale benched him.

A timid keeper translates to the whole backline.

As the sensible posters have mentioned.
Bernd is too good to be a number 2 & obvs wants to play after a season bench warming.

I am glad we have at least managed to finally get some erm semi decent money 💰 for one of our players. It was always gonna be tough to get a lot more with only 12 months left especially if he had his heart set on London.
Pope was in a similar situation contract wise & went to Newcastle for 10m & some of that would have likely been English tax so there you go.

Christ, what a terrible deal. If they stay up two seasons in a row he'll have played a large part in it, and they'll have banked several hundred million, but we get £4m? Awful.
