Koscielny as usual escapes all of the criticism. Coquelin tried to get in between but he was always behind Hazard who did really well to keep his body between defender and ball. Koscielny however just keeps backing up like van Dijk at his worst like the gutless dickhead he is. Good goal but nothing special against defenders like this.

Also "ended Coquelin career" he went on to win a Copa del Rey a Europa League and made a CL semi final, all for big underdog clubs as well. That's levels above what we've done in that time frame.

Rating Coquelin over him is an extreme minority opinion bordering on lunacy

No DM is worth £100m but it is what it is. People are going over the top to discredit him because a few in here have gone to the other end of the spectrum with the ‘better than Gilberto’ or ‘better passer than Vieira’ takes.

I mostly said it because of your disrespect to Coquelin, uncalled for when he's played for us since Hale End. Injuries ruined him he could've become much more.

Don't actually rate him higher than Rice but had to mention the latter because of your strong feelings for him. Rice is great at what he does but he's 100% a Brexit Baller lol that's not up for debate.

Agreed, over criticism (talking what I see in general especially after Euros).

Debatable if he is really worth 100m, but Rice is still the best midfielder money could buy at the time. My only frustration is I wish we did something similar somewhere upfront.
