Booing players on the pitch

We all saw how Pires, as expected was booed with every touch of the ball at Portsmouth. It shows that football fans are very unforgiving, and many of you might have thought "Just let it go, get over it already" but why should they? if they think its a dive, and on looking at it again it was more a dive than a foul- certainly not a lot of contact- then they should show their hate of that player. im saying this because, would any of you ever forgive diver rooney for that dive at OT?
i certainly wouldn't, and if we come to lose the league by a couple of points it could prove crucial.

anyway the whole point of this topic is to say that i hope the arsenal fans don't forgive and forget rooney. i hope he gets the same reception as pires got everytime he goes near the ball in the return match at highbury. i hope our fans give him the reception he deserves. same with rude vain nastyboy.

Danny Mills copped it TWICE last season at Highbury when I was watching (I'm sure he got it during the FA Cup tie too), so I don't doubt they'll boo Rooney.

I hope so, Rooney'll lose his head that way and get himself sent off.

Not only should he be abused he should be on the end of a few abusive chants. Some good one's lined up for him in the songsheet.

sounds good. pires didn't have a great game, he may have been frustrated with the boos and chants. every little bit helps as the crowd can always be a 12th man (13th sometimes depending on the ref eg, MR)

yeah...but for instance when players boo henry he seems to turn up the heat and score...so hopefully this wont have the same effect on van van the diving man and shriek.

Our support was abysmal, we tried to start booing fuller every time he touched it after his awful dive but of course our fans was have nothing to do with it.
Oh how **** football has gotten.

that was always gonna happen, especially when you consider he never played in either fixture at theirs last season. we tried to counter it with "super rob" but not to much avail it has to be said. im not knocking pompey for what they subjected bobby to y'day, as for them this was long overdue and they milked it. also, lets not forget the reception they gave tel in the cup and then the league game at theirs.

anyone see the redknapp banners and also graffiti on the wall behind our end!?

as for mills....

danny mills is a w*nker, is a w*nker

and

you've got the worst player in the world...

were a couple of chants that were thrown his way at ours last season.

Oh how s**t football has gotten.

How ****ing frustrating was that. Our chance to get one back over the pompey fans and only a few of us seem bothered

Their ground is already a s**thole, as if they'd want to embarrass themselves even more like

A player in an away game should treat a boo like a cheer - it shouldn't affect them negatively.

Of course Rooney will be booed!

He'll be booed all the way out of Highbury so bad he'll be comforting eating on pies all night for weeks after! :D
