BOYCOTT THE SUN.

[thegreatbriton]

From this day on I am Boycotting the Sun. I will not purchase it until the end of the transfer window, or perhaps far beyond. I am now calling on all Gooners to do the same. Not only that but you should tell all other Gooners, via other forums and talking to your friends to Boycott the Sun. Ideally the Sun would then discover that specifically Arsenal fans are boycotting it.

[Serip]

I'd like to think that Arsenal fans are intelligent enough to not buy The Sun in the first place.

[MightyArsenal]

Hahah burn them to the ground

[RocktheCasbah]

Boycott the S'n- just because of a transfer rumour?

What about the 96 at Hillsborough? We don't care about them though, do we?

The S'n should be boycotted because it is a sh't newspaper full stop. I can't believe everyone's so surprised by its' shoddy journalism. It's always been that way, though it's good that some of you are now starting to see it.

[pamilih]

Why do we want to boycott a tabloid? We need the sensation they produce.

[Sigun]

i havent picked up the The SUN 4 a while now, simply because i havent had the chance.

Have they been stirring up the paddy move of summink?

[Arnie]

Page 3 says no

But my heart shays yes co they are sh** stirrers

[thegreatbriton]

Sigun, the Sun basically invented the whole Vieira story, with the Mirror.

Continually fabricated quotes out of no-where, writing sports editorals sayign eh shoulkd leave.

[kublai]

i think we should boycott all tabloids, but then we would have no senations to ta  lk about

[Spike]

I'm gonna send an email to The Sun news people saying 'Arsenal supporters boycott the Sun!'

[PolishGooner]

I dont buy The Sun

[Alexone234]

The reason to boycott the sun has about 20% to do with Patrick rumours, but 80% to do with their continual aim to turn our exciting national sport into an episode of Eastenders. They insist on putting "cover boy" Rooney on the front page, and talk about him like a pop star, when the facially challenged strikers needs to focus on his football, the treat Beckham like a king, then have a pop at him, then spend the rest of the time trying to butter him up again.

Its a disgrace. Then there is the rumour mongering. "a source close to the player" or "one on looker" are sneaky ways of qualifying a quote that doesn't exist.

Being that no one has spoken to Pat bar his agent and Wenger, where did they get their source from? They got it from thin air.

The continual defence of Rio even though he was a mug, just because he writes a collumn for them was awful.

I think we should always boycott the Sun because they talk sh-t and make up lies.

I am considering now whether to choose the Independant, the telegraph or the observer (already get the times). Which is best ???

[RocktheCasbah]

Observer I reckon, especially cos Amy Lawrence writes in it
