For club in thier size for sure they exciting type of window but they gonna need these guys to preform or they in trouble they putting too faith on guy that 3 years younger than me

If more clubs did like Brighton are doing the past 3-4 seasons I wouldn't hate football as much as I do.

If we had signed half of the players Brighton did this summer I would've rated our window as well tbf.

I love the players they’ve signed. Huge potential. Compared to say someone like west ham, I don’t rate their window at all.

Agreed. Think most of those players are at a solid level now too, so they should be able to make an impact this season as well.

Well they been spot on but for these clubs one awful season and these guys not performing they will end up making lot of loses. But they brought well expect them to make push for top 7

In 2021 Arsenal it'll be exciting type for sure but not current Arsenal we already have stable starting 11 even tho would have liked O'Riley replace Partey and Ferdi to replace Zinny

You're not wrong, but you could say that about most clubs tbf. They're spreading their investment on multiple assets. If a couple of them blow up and get sold for Caicedo money then they're laughing.

Kind of similar to what we've done the past few seasons, however we haven't sold anyone at their peak yet though.

Minteh, Wieffer, O'Riley, Ferdi, Gruda are all signings I would rate for us fwiw.

What did they pay for ORiley? Was very good under Ange but took it up a notch under Rogers last yr. Brighton seem about his level as a club.

Don’t think ORiley is ready to start for Arsenal tbh

Brighton saved so much money thier squad also needed refreshment so no surprise they took advantage of this window. They'll likely end up selling most of these guys for 80M at least if they turn up good most of them young.

Yeah, they have. But they also underreport the amount of money Tony Bloom invested into the club. Before they got promoted Big Tone financed the stadium, players, and all the staff. Now they've effectively paid him back and are spending the excess money.

Brighton have an advantage over bigger clubs in one respect, everyone knows they're a shop window club and moving there means you are likely to be allowed to move to a top club in a year or two.

For a younger player its an ideal move, you get PL wages and will likely get experience at this level + if you attract interest they won't stand in your way.

Clubs like Arsenal Man City Liverpool etc. can't necessarily offer you that.

Top six now, and it's weird to think they should be higher.

Baleba, Rutter, Welbeck and Minteh have been incredible this season. Then there's Adringa, Pedro, Gruda, and O'Reilly waiting in the wings.

Although he scored today, I reckon Rutter is an 80m+ player if he adds finishing to his game.

Yes Brighton actually over doing it now they were balancing things before now they paying heavy amount but not really the same outcome. I'm unsure why players going there bundesliga is more opportunities for young guys to actually start.

Brighton bought this Gruda guy he was regular at his team in bundesliga I'm yet to see him play at Brighton

They have already messed up with strikers and wingers, their new thing is central midfielders.

How can someone like that Swedish kid Ayari develop when they have Baleba, Ferdi playing CM, Wieffer, Hinshelwood, O’Riley, Milner?

This isn’t Moneyball, this club is constructed via betting algorithms, complete joke.

their policy of piling up talent is not working.
plus, you can tell they are very speculative with who gets game time and who doesnt, the coach has very little to say there. My guess?, they have crazy clauses about paying per minute playing, and that is why you have some players who just dont play when they are clearly better than others.

very poorly run club, a cash grab, and a shame for their fans that need to go trough that. you understand now why De Zerbi left, their model is gross.

What are you on about? Brighton would be in League 2 and playing on a race course if Tony Bloom hadn't adopted this model.

Arsenal Quotes

Arsenal is in my blood as well as my heart. I will always, always, always remember you guys. I said I was going to be a Gooner for life and I did not lie because when you are a Gooner, you will always be a Gooner. This club is in my heart and will remain in my heart forever.
