Regardless of if we sell Xhaka or not €25m is nothing and we only really have Torreira and Xhaka as reliable parts of the midfield. Willock and Guendouzi are still young and inconsistent.

 

Agree 25M is not alot of money if we can do it then we really get him before Benfica

Supposedly the most reliable journo regarding the team who Bruno plays for. Says negotiations are taking place but his club would prefer to sell to Benfica because they want to retain 20% ownership. Surely you just insert a 20% sell on clause in that case?

 

Let Benfica have him & take Florentino off their hands.

 

Wonder if there is more to gain from ownership rather than a sell on clause, part ownership seems common with transfers between South American and Portuguese clubs.

 

Probably has something to do with image rights (wild guess).
