Wasn't here at the time, but I can understand.

When you look at it, there's really not much that separates these players actually. Both are hot heads for their team, but cool guys otherwise. Very durable DMF/CMF's with great stamina.

Xhaka was likely a bit better passer (Guimaraes has just begun his prime though), but Guimaraes is more technical and agile. Otherwise I can't put a big difference on them, apart from Guimaraes having the potential to be even better and faster. Xhaka's true prime took a while, although he was never bad, and was always important no matter what the haters said.

Well of course Xhaka had the better shot, but Guimaraes has improved on that. Guimaraes is also a bit faster, especially in acceleration I think.

Wand is a stretch. He's a very good passer but that's it.
Big reason why he struggled as regista here.
Bruno is better at it than him.

The downside to Xhaka's passing, is he smashed it to the player in fronts feet, which made it hard to control. He should of been knocking more balls for players to run onto instead.
