We're getting some shades of old Saka out there.

Just got to hope he peaks at the final.

He's very clearly still injured. It may have gotten more manageable with rest but he has absolutely no burst over distance and he's gutting it out as well as he can. Really we just have to hope we can get him in good positions to deliver the final ball because he's probably not going to skin his man again this season.

Yeah his shooting is starting to look better and his delivery on the corner was perfect. I just don't think he can push off of that Achilles well enough to sprint at the level you'd hope. I'm really dreading the World Cup as relates to him playing.

Like I’ve said he was never a speed demon but he did have a decent burst and could beat players on the outside

Clear that as the second half developed, he was running out of steam.

Tough call between giving him 60~ minutes or bringing him on later to build fitness, but I'd go with the former.

With any luck, we score early and he gets to coast a bit.

Pen from what I saw. The defender blocks his foot as he shoots, without playing the ball. I think if it’s called as a pen it is given by VAR.

Yeah I felt it would have been a harsh penalty tbh. One of those rare ones where yeah the defender stops him from playing the ball but he isn’t actively fouling Saka either.

Body is shot and having to play in the world cup will only make things worse.

He really needs a summer off and a better RW than Noni to rotate with. Hopefully Nwaneri and Dowman can sort out that issue.

Though I agree, felt it would've been slightly soft. Either way, it's one of those things that you reckon the refs felt it was a pen and didn't send Havertz later on as the balancing act.
