3 games. 2 goals. No limping.

Quietly efficient.

Off to a good start. Nothing to see here.

2 goals but for me he still looks way off physically. Hopefully he stays fit for this season and is able to regain that dynamism he used to have. He wasn’t the quickest player before but damn now I feel really bad for him. He was meant to go from our Starboy to our star man but I don’t know now….

Still early days I was just surprised at how quiet his thread was

Yeah still don't get what people are seeing with him physically declining, etc. If anything he seems stronger than ever, the way he holds off much bigger players (sometimes multiple at once) is wild. He's still getting in behind in the box down the flank and always getting the yards needed to play whatever ball he wants.

He is definitely bigger and stronger. But not as agile or quick as he was a couple of seasons ago. But even without the injuries, players usually lose some quickness once they get into their mid to late 20s. He is smart enough to adjust his game, he just needs to stay fit.

Him putting James on his arse in the first half was delightfully reminiscent of when Henry, also one who was surprisingly strong for a player with a slight frame, did the same to Desailly before scoring in a 2-0 home win.

His role is changing and the way he approaches his game is changing. He reminds me of the way he was playing when he came back for the UCL Real Madrid tie. Almost totally off the ball work. Just letting the ball movement and his iq and our rotations do all the work while he tries to position himself for the killer blow. We’ll see how it works out throughout the rest of the season

He completed the most sprints out of anyone vs Chelsea.

I think people are seeing what they want to see at this point

Ngl...his shooting has been off for a while now. It's not good enough, I don't know what happened but he's missing too many sitters now. Should have scored at least one goal vs Napoli.

People see what they want to see. If you can't see Saka clearly isn't the same player as a few years ago idk what to tell you really, just rose tinted glasses.

He is trying too hard and it's affecting his game.

Not worried at all, was the one making things happen in the first half. Shame he messed that free shot but it happens.

Then we enjoyed Madueke

Arsenal Quotes

When we won the title on May 3-rd by beating Everton 4-0 as Tony Adams scored that iconic goal, we showed everyone and especially Manchester United that we could beat them. Thirteen days later, when we beat Newcastle 2-0 in the FA Cup final in the legendary Wembley Stadium, it was wonderful... I felt immensely proud for the team, for the club: this was the fantastic response I was able to give to those who had put their confidence in me, as well as those who had put me through all those difficult weeks when I first arrived.
