Poor attempt at rage baiting. If he is not Arsenal level, what does that say about the rest of the attacking players over the last couple of years? Only attacking talents in the last couple of years better than Saka were prime Sanchez, Özil and RVP.
What other attacking players? Give me names let’s compare. We’re talking starting players.

How many can do the work he’s does at his position. There are players that have flash, sure but he’s more of a complete wide player.

Compare him to players who can play the position in Arteta’s system. Not sure who’s out there tbf.

Still needs to step up his attack play because he has been below average this season.

This is a particularly bad opinion. What is Arsenal level btw? Last time we had a better team than the current one was 22 years ago. Arsenals level since then has on average been top 4, Saka has clearly been top 4 level. For the team 22 years ago Saka at his best was arguably is better than Ljunberg.

that lack of pace alone from saka will reduce potential he reach salah number at premier league let alone close to salah number
He's a great player on his day but we seem to think he is our salah and gave him a contract to reflect that. Our game in the last few years has also been geared to go through him which has been somewhat of a hinderance as its made us frustratingly predictable at times simply because he is not the level of player that a team fighting for all honours should be building a team around. Our football has now gone stale probably due to huge pressure to win something this year but Arteta just has to change things up next season. So far this teams evolution has drifted towards the unsustainable.

He's done it in the past. He's performed up to PL POTY standards multiple seasons before. Arteta needs to figure out how to get the best out of him and Saka needs to work through his physical and mental issues and figure it out as well. Saka's certainly not benefitting from Kai, Ben, and Ødegaard missing, but there's also no excuse for that last performance. He's smart enough to play better in his sleep.

This team was not built to maximize saka's strengths lol. This team was built to maximize Ødegaard, that's why he was made captain. Amazing how most of you still try to disrespect Saka. If anything, Saka has been held back by the lack of attacking talent on his level and Arteta clearly not being a mastermind when it comes to attacking football like Wenger or Klopp. He has never played with a genuinely great CF in his club career and the LW opposite him is usually limited in some way. That's why he gets doubled and even triple teamed a lot over the last 3 seasons, but still finds a way to be effective and efficient. Even in his so called worst season, he is still the most creative player on the team who is leading in almost all the chance creation stats for wingers in the league. Could have easily had 15 assists by now if he was even playing with a Giroud level forward and not Gyokeres or Havertz (although Havertz combines better with him).

In theory our play should be going through Ødegaard but do you know what Ødegaard's favourite move has been for the last 3 years? Passing to saka and the whole team waiting for Saka to do something. Have you even been watching us play bro?
Lol saka's being held back by the team? We are top of the league and still in 4 competitions in a season where Saka's hardly carried us. I wish he was as good as you think he is and there is still time for him to prove it this season and in the world cup

You realize you just exposed how overrated Ødegaard is? And how Arteta can't create a good attacking system that is fluid? Only time the team has looked really fluid on offense was in 22/23 and parts of 23/24 since he has been manager.

At this point Saka might need someone to offload his burden in the left wing. Don't know much about that Ndiaye fella but we need someone in the Doue/ Vini category there. With Dowman getting cameos here and there, Gyok could bang em in like he was still in Portugal.

At the moment, I'd ask him to rotate in those wings during the game, especially if played alongside Martinelli or Madueke who are both comfortable on both wings. We have become way too predictable. Mikel would really be terrible at poker!

That's also true. Both our captain and vice captain are somewhat overated. Ødegaard probably moreso

IMO since 1997 the only wide players we have had that are clear of Saka are Overmars, Pires and Sanchez. Saka is 24 and Overmars had just joined us at that age while the other 2 were 1-2 years older when they joined us. Saka has a good few years left to catch up to them. That’s not even including the fact that the trio mentioned played under Wenger, Overmars played with Bergkamp and Vieira while Pires had those two plus Henry and Cole to combine with.

Was on Vinai's payroll; misses 4th place trophy 🏆
Felt was lot involved today but again you'd expect much more from player with this talent.

There also high pressure on him and expectations i feel it getting into him but we all know Saka he can handle.

Need him to get back to his form back because rest of our attack look tragic

Nothing Wrong With Me
His RW performances are definitely a concern, it’s not a blip now, it’s proving to be long term. Something is missing, maybe following injuries. Noni deserved to play RW yesterday, Saka could have been LW and still given the same performance as he does on the RW. Noni on the other hand looked lost at LW. Big decisions ahead for Arteta.

In terms of talent I think Sachez is the best winger we’ve ever had.

He was a generational player in terms of talent although strangely his football IQ was a bit off, used to force things a lot.

You seem to be arguing with yourself a bit here?

I agree Arteta hasn't made a fluid attacking team in 25/26 but the idea that he *can't* do it is wrong imo, I just don't think he thinks it necessary to win this season's EPL

Perhaps once we win 1-3 trophies this season the "lol you never win bro" pressure will come off and he'll find a balance between this year's style and previous years. Also think once Dowman and Nwaneri come into the team more we'll look more fluid as a natural byproduct.

I find it offensive how some people defend this version of Saka. He is way better than this. The fact that he is still our best attacking player is just sad.

What’s more offensive is people throwing him under the bus after his first period of struggle in an Arsenal shirt.

One of our own and picked the club off its back as a teenager.

His performances need to improve but they way people have gone on about him shows the worst aspect of this fanbase.
