Saka will sign a fat new deal and if we aren’t where we need to be in 3 years, then he’ll be open to offers.

I think that is a fair deal to be honest.

It's a short career being footballer, too short to end up 8th. We need to improve or our best players will seek greener pastures.

He needs a new deal. He is already one of the best wingers in the league and a fully fledged international, so deserves to be paid accordingly. I think his agent will be (rightfully) pushing for him to enter that Lacazette/Pepe wage bracket.

If a deal worth over 100k is the only way to convince him to stay then we have to do it, we can't do another RVP or Fabregas issue & let them join our rivals, it will be a disgrace & people will start turning on Arteta again. Our rivals hardly let their young players join us or others so we can't keep doing the same.

Really top prospects like Saka and a few of the other guys should be having their contracts renegotiated every 18 months or so at this stage of their careers.

I'm not worried about Saka leaving at this stage but we've got to stay on top of these contracts.

Your Saka's, ESR's etc have an ingrained loyalty to Arsenal. The club needs to let them know it's a two way street and that we will bump their contracts up on a fairly regular basis to match their on field performances.

Whack him up to £100k a week and tell him we'll have another look at bumping him up in 12 months if he keeps stepping up.

Saka is not only worth 100k a week, he is consistently performing to this level. He's our most consistent attacking player. He should be on 150 plus bonuses on a 4 year deal with an option to renegotiate after 2 to 3 years.
Reckon our most consistent defender is worth 100k a week?

Honestly don’t see why this thread is open. It started with teams “monitoring” Saka. Everybody ”monitors” great players on other sides, not even sure if there was any hint of a strong link to Saka leaving.

Its just our biggest fear atm so people can go here when they feel insecure and that too many positives cant be true.
Honestly, we can discuss his future in his own lil chilli thread.
We shouldnt have an (out) for every player that might be wanted by someone just because for the last 4years no one actually wanted any of our players.

Honestly, I really can't see it happening at least anytime soon, where do & why do the media just make this stupid stuff up, just to stir up the Arsenal fans, we all know the media & referees dislike Arsenal in particular.

I've just been on the Manchester City & Liverpool forums their transfer threads just for a bit of fun to see what their fans are saying, there is absolutely nothing on either one about the transfer of Saka haha. Idiots.

Not bothered with such news. Saka and Smith Rowe will be here for at least another season.

Depressing if even 1% true.

Club needs to get its act together and compete at the very top again to prevent this madness
