Wrong, I'm defending them. Would never say a bad word about Messi or Ronaldo, at least for their ability

Fair enough. You said something though  I dunno what it was but you said something.

Where you at with Saka anyways? WC or not yet?

Maybe

You're wrong, no?

Getting there, feel like he has made massive improvements in dribbling and just looks more dangerous on the ball in some areas. The rest of his game, I was always happy with it

To be honest, I am kinda bored of the "I hate all the current Arsenal players gimmick" now.

Still think there should be a bit of pressure on us to win something, but bar that I am kinda done with being the heel now...want all the current players to do well, especially after the City game!

Just remember while our older players may not always say something we agree with, they aren't being disrespectful...they were great players at this club and achieved greatness while under the Arsenal name, so some respect is also due to them 👍
Respect is earned or lost on a continuous basis. I don't care what someone did in the past, they can lose respect when they don't care about facts and chat nonsense. If Michael Jordan became a flat earther today, he would lose my respect. When our ex players say things that don't have a basis in fact, I'm not giving them a pass because they won something 20 years ago. 🤌🏾

Also, you could maybe continue your beef with Declan, he's on my nerves lately and Patrick and Gilberto remain in my good books. 😅

Uncles have bad takes sometimes, it's normally a case of whatever you say. I feel like the Pires backlash was a (typical) massive overreaction and he shouldn't have explained himself/apologised.

This is true. My actual uncle once accused my mother of becoming a "deranged yank" because my sister and I don't drink whole milk and that was only half as stupid as what Pires said. To be fair to Pires though, the penalty for his nonsense was less harsh than becoming a 400lb blob with a CPAP mask like my actual uncle.

He's been begging for an Arsenal job for years Pires, so it was in his interest to apologise I guess. Probably the reason behind certain opinions as well possibly.

I kind of feel in the mood for making @Riou vibrate with anger.....Saka now is a better player than Freddie Ljungberg ever was. I actually 100% believe that.

Freddie was great but out of all our main offensive players of that era Freddie was the weakest. Saka clear. Not at Bobbys level..... yet though.

Thoughts @Riou?

Saka is a great player to be fair, so I won't argue with people putting him over Freddie...think if Bukayo's Arsenal career goes as we all hope, he will be ranked higher anyway.

Always felt Ljungberg was extremely underrated though, basically played out of position his whole career here put still adapted for us and played to an extremely high level...and the few times he got to play on the left he was right up there as our best performing player, wouldn't have won the Double in.2002 for example...was a great footballer, proper spiky little **** on the pitch too.

I think Freddie was the one who pushed Emery to play Bukayo back then too, which is pretty cool!

I've never been a goalscorer. I've only owned goals. Good own goals.
