It was only a matter of time before he got an injury like this we should have been more carefull. hopefully he can make a speedy recovery.

I’m a bit confused as to why people are saying we need to force in a Saka replacement when he is returning right at the end of the January window? Maybe a week after it shuts.

So the person who we are expecting to step in due to this emergency won’t really be saving the day for more than a couple weeks before he is back?
Don't you come with your 'logical analysis'. We don't do that here

Maybe a change of shape whilst he’s out?

Jesus Havertz
Ødegaard
Merino Rice
Partey

Something like that?
I'd go for a Christmas tree, 4-3-2-1.

Jesus up front with Havertz and Trossard or Martinelli roaming behind him. Partey at 6, Rice on the left and Ødegaard on the right. Calafiori and Timber allowed to go forward to bring width.

Damn. That changes things, torn hamstring you’re looking at end of March.

I think we’ll go to the market, Sterling knee as well.

I don’t think we win the league now.

Okay so now we would need to sign a winger if we want any chance of the title.

But I still don’t want a crappy stopgap if it blocks a marquee signing in the summer.
