He also gets kicked to pieces in most games with no protection from the refs. You add all these things together and it accumulates. People were saying for months that it was only going to be a matter of time before he gets injured. It was the most predictable thing ever.

Predicting a footballer is going to get injured is like predicting a toddler is going to grow into an adult.

Footballers get injured and footballers pull hamstrings. Mbappe, Vini Jr, and Rodrygo all pulled their hamstrings this season.

Saka is not the first footballer to get injured or pull his hamstring. This exceptionalism people have with him is weird asf.

Nah not when it was obvious that Saka has been overplayed since he was a teenager. And we have seen evidence with Chamberlain, Walcott, Wilshere, Ramsey, Fabregas, Diaby etc

It's obvious every footballer will get injured at some point. What you're saying is frankly ridiculous. You can predict now that the entire Arsenal u-21 team will suffer an injury at some point and you will be 100% right. Name one footballer who has never suffered an injury. I won't wait.

With him we have 5% chance to go further,
And that's not worth risking him reinjuring himself by being rushed back.
I don't understand this panic about Saka. Arsenal has a medical team and they will say if Saka is ready or not.
If they say that he is ready, why he shouldn't play?
Well I'm old enough to remember when the medical team decided that Timber could continue playing after he went down under no contact clutching his knee and then his season was over a few minutes later when he came back on the pitch and went right back down with a torn ACL.

All people are concerned about is that our best player is eased back in after a long period out, in part because he was clearly rushed back from an injury to this same area of the body, overplayed and then lost for over 3 months. I care a lot more about the next 6 years of Saka's career than the next 6 weeks.

Well in this case we shouldn't believe whatever Arsenal doctors say about any player.
Let this forum decide when our players are ready to play, we are more qualified than Arsenal doctors.

I don't know why you like creating weird strawmen so much. Nobody here said they're more qualified than the team's doctors. The sentiment is mostly that we HOPE he's not being rushed back because we have seen players and in fact this particular player rushed back to disastrous effect. If you can't understand why supporters of this football club might be concerned that the player is being rushed back based on historical precedent and concern for his welfare then I don't know what to tell you. I'm certainly not going to argue with you about it though.

I also don't know what to tell you.
I believe what my doctors tell me, I also assume that Arsenal doctors are qualified professionals who know their job.

You are using one case (Timber) that has nothing to do with another case (Saka).
In Timber's case it happened within few minutes, without proper time to check what actually happened.
In Saka's case we talk about rehabilitation which lasts more than 3 months.

There surely is a hotline in Croatia if you need someone to talk to. Make use of it. I'm not spending my time feeding whatever this need to argue is.

Don't project your problems on other people.
You obviously have experience with hotline.

Not career altering injuries like all those overplayed teenagers suffered if their minutes are managed well.

If Jesus, Havertz and Saka were healthy and in form, I'd give Arsenal a good chance to beat Real Madrid.
Cap.

No way we get past Madrid. An average Bayern side made light work of us last season. If I was a betting man, I wouldn't even put money on us getting past inter or atleti, never mind Madrid. Beating PSG has got you guys gassed.

Just people who have no clue nor insight on Saka, his condition or the position with the club (and a professional medical team) debating whether he's fit enough or not.

Makes a lot of sense.

We usually perform much better when we are "underdog", while it favors Madrid but I would definitely not rule us out as "No Way".

While on the front foot they are unstoppable but there's plenty of weakness in Madrid team to exploit. We can just be the West Ham to them like what West Ham did to us.

Arsenal Quotes

When I am asked why I stayed at Arsenal so long.. my answer is simple; I never wanted to be anywhere else. I could have earned a lot more elsewhere, but that wouldn't compensate for all the good years at Highbury.
