To be honest Saka had week off after Sp**s game i think today muscular injury was the affect from Bournemouth game he also trained normally so everything was good to go for today game

The only issue now how much his ankle gonna handle this? He a player that getting tackled hard stamp into his foot and ankle multi times a game and we still in October

England squad is announced tomorrow so we’ll know it’s a proper injury if he’s left out.

Probably I've overanalyzed Saka's injury but whoever is interested here is what I noticed. Reran the game yesterday. In the 19th minute he tried a backheel pass and started holding the back of his left leg just above his knee on the inside. To me it looked like the lower part of his hamstring. He then carried on for 10-12 more minutes in which he tried couple of sprints but it was visible he is not comfortable. When he eventually went down he showed the doctor that exact part of his leg again.
He is usually quite good at reading his body and understanding when to go off. Hopefully its just some minor strain which will keep him out for couple of days.

People have the right to be worried him overplay but when a star like him who make team look better you kinda forced to start him. He off form according to many yet 5 goals 5 assists in 10 games he played so far.

Still next summer its vital we get him backup we can't keep ignore it because Nelson is LW Trossard LW and ESR also better as LW.

Exclusive breaking news on the pod this afternoon via @OnlyOne

Bukayo Saka is not injured. Precautionary decision to come off and Flo is delighted with his decision making.

Seriously though, if that’s true they’d be idiots to risk him. A nice 2 week break to recover and both him and Martinelli should be fresh for Chelsea. We aren’t beating City anyway and it’ll give Teta an excuse.

Risk him and he tears it, we might as well all pack up.

Saka will be out for Sunday and legohead will play Vieira on RW.
Arteta must think Viera is left footed like Saka so he can also play RW because if not I can't understand why he will play him there.

The guy is limited in his normal position already no need to make him worse in a position where he's actually shocking.

Arteta's management of Saka is very disappointing, but I can't tell if we are overreacting and making an issue out of nothing.

I agree I wouldn't play him. He choose to risk him yesterday when it was clear he was carrying a knock. Pure arrogance and over reliance on one player. Legohead will end up destryoing him.

Yeah, this would be horrendous PR for both Arteta and Arsenal as well if he plays and tears it. Especially if Southgate leaves him out tomorrow.

Remember this Saka issue all started because Arteta is trying to prove a dumb point.

The guy was limping against Burnamouth and Mr galaxy brain refused to sub him until he couldnt walk.

Should have rested him against Lens so he could recover well for city but still played him until he broke down again.

Now we might only have a half fit Saka at best vs a team he's trying to beat to a title. Arteta is not the guy to win the big stuffs with us, he's too petty.
