A lot of people commenting on these threads are braindead or just overly emotional fans that know nothing about nuance and context when it comes to analyzing a players performance or even the tactical instructions that the manager wants his team to execute.

Yeah I mean outside of a couple of corners that didn't beat the first man and a couple of misplaced passes, I thought he was great. He was skinning their fullback and creating a ton of chances as the numbers clearly state. They just weren't being put away.

Probably down to him taking players on a lot, wasn't triple marked like he is in the Prem. Felt his was fine, tbh.

This kid is phenomenal. Other players will get the media plaudits but this guy, not a team in world football that this kid wouldn't get into, not one single team. He offers everything, nothing he can't do and he works absolutely harder than any player playing that position - incredible player and great person.

He owns one of those Highbury flats as well. Should have thought about that before hyping up Doku and being categorically wrong about Saka publicly.

Feels like he's taken a step up in terms of how neutrals see him. Not sure why, but I see way more people generally agreeing he's a world class player these days. Maybe it's because he's been a consistent positive for England despite almost everyone else looking like ****.
