Bergkamp (probably the best ever player from a technical player point of view that will ever play for us) was told...

"You're amazing, but what's the point of your being here if we don't win anything with you?"

...by Tony Adams before we won the league in 1998, that's kinda always how I look at things...we have a wonderful history of success with our best teams, lets not drop that standard.

Our team is good enough to win stuff, so let's do it is what I say... that's when the real praise arrives!

Saka is a special player, level of consistency is ridiculous we are lucky to have him.

Robert Pires well I was at the game he did his ACL March 2001/2 season, carried off after yet another magnificent display FA Cup q/f replay v Newcastle at Highbury,Pires had opened the scoring in the 1st min and set up Bergkamp for the 2nd, we won 3-0.

Season ended for him in March still ended up football writers player of the year. Missed chunk of the next season obviously. Showed what a talent he was in recovering 2003/4, 14 pl goals, fantastic player.
