Saka, is scaring the life out of defenders with his pace and footwork they can't cope with him when he runs at them, Then he has the awareness to know who is around him to pass to, He has come on a long way over the last couple of seasons, Hopefully he is not going to get too many injuries because he gets fouled a lot now.

That's not what I asked though. I asked who is incredible in tight spaces if Mbappe isn't. I love Saka but this notion that Mbappe is just pace and doesn't have incredible technical quality to go along with it is not something I'm going to entertain because it's silly. There's a reason that he gets compared to R9 and Thierry instead of Adama Traore and Walcott.
Mbappe is good in tight spaces, in combination with his otherworldly pace and acceleration plus finishing, that's a deadly combination. He is nowhere near elite in that aspect though. There is probably like 300-1000 other footballers right now with better ball control in tight spaces than Mbappe. That's enough to make him one of the best in the world anyway.

Saka on the other hand doesn't have that pace or acceleration so he developed elite ball- control.
Players with elite ball- control are more flexible tactically and naturally better at dealing with low blocks.
It's why Messi played in possession-dominating teams and Cristiano needed more space and support.
There is nothing controversial here at all tbh.

You should keep gem like this for twitter where posting absolutely brain dead takes like bolded could at least earn you some money if you've got blue checkmark.

Saka and Mbappe are world-class pretty much for the same reason.
Saka combines great physical tools with elite control, while Mbappe combines elite physical tools with great control. Both is really really rare.

The reason for it is obvious as well, players without the physical tools are forced to find other ways and therefore practice those other ways continuously from an early age.
A Trossard needed to play in tight spaces nonstop, Walcott never did.

At Arsenal alone it's definitely at least 4 (Zubimendi, Saka, Ødegaard, Trossard)

If you extrapolate from there 300-1000 will be a pretty accurate estimate.

He obviously didn't look right.
Yeah he was way off pace and it was clear to see from the start. I don't understand why we keep playing our players when they are have knocks and are ill. Surely Nwaneri could have played today if Saka wasn't well. The way the club manages some of these players isn't right man. What's the point of all the "depth" when you still refuse to use it?

Mods are unethical! Özil, come assist me please!
He is playing like he doesn't want to get hit.

Our attacking players are not drawing enough fouls outside the box.

Tbf I don't think any single other attacking player in the Premier League gets less protection than Saka. It's insane looking at how he's kicked, grabbed, chopped down etc. how much they allow against him when they know by now how he's not one to go down easy, yet they still allow for him to get picked off the ground and then thrown back down again by Mings with no penalty given or getting kicked by McArthur from the back while in midair and McArthur still only getting a yellow card.

I'm not sure how long he can continue playing if they don't start cracking down on it soon. Either he slows down.. or injuries will make him slow down.

BBC sport reliable journalist with regards Arsenal Sami Mokbel reporting agreement with Bukayo Saka over a new deal is at an advanced stage.

Positive talks also over a new deal Jurrien Timber both deserve new improved contracts, core to our future not anywhere near peak ages either player.

After seeing him first hand yesterday at the Brighton match, this guy has something special. He only played for twenty minutes but my god, you can feel it in the crowd that whenever he has the ball everyone is just waiting for magic to happen.

It was wild.
