How do you rate Gruev btw? Seeing that he is playing regularly now.
The state in which the Bulgarian NT is, we need talented players playing abroad

Should have been a starter already since the start of the season to be fair - because our only number 6 is Groß, who isn't close to Bundesliga quality and Gruev has already show some potential to fill this role. But our coach is often using the more experience alternative, so Gruev was getting gametime slowly.

He was excellent as joker at the start, but hasn't shown the same level when he started the game. Good tacklings and ball playing CDM, but surely limited to his left foot only. Needs to use the right one too, to be more pressing resistant.

Feels like he is a Sahin-Light so far (of course not similar to his level), but from his style to play. Worked very well as Nr.8 too in the last 2 games, to be more compact defensively.

Would love it if he could grow into this 6 position longterm, but still some way to go. Needs to use his chance this season, because his concurrence really isn't strong.
