• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

Please support both these initiatives and help ensure the long term future of our site.

Leverkusens starting 11 was the most haram 11 I ever seen in my life. 6 defenders 3 DMs and 1 attacking midfielder

Neuer got a red vs Leverkusen in the cup.

At least 70 minutes with 10 men.
First in his career after 950 games. Shocked he even got it by a German ref but was as blatant a red as you'll see, could've snapped Frimpong in half

Neuer still trying to play like he's in his 20's is starting to cost him.

This Peretz guy seems like a talented keeper though. Never seen him play.

@NieThePiet congrats on reaching the next round. Haven't seen the match but late winner vs Darmstadt lol how is it you're so poor at home compared to away?
to be fair, we played Bayern, Dortmund, Leverkusen, Freiburg and Stuttgart at home in the league already - we even looked good in most of the games, should have won the last game vs Stuttgart, were the better team vs Leverkusen and shouldn't have lost the game vs Freiburg.

So if you look closely at each games, it isn't even that bad. But we are struggling more against deep blocks like vs Kiel and Darmstadt, where we won luckily at the end.

Yea probably fair assessment, although still those on edge games tend to go in your favour more often away from home than in Bremen.

Against low blocks you could really do with that freak Woltemade up front, some donkey in him but guys basically undefendable with his back to goal. Topp doesn't look like a bad replacement tbf though.

Don’t count us (Leverkusen) out of it yet. Still in it. Doing much better last few games.

If that happens I'll buy a Kane shirt. Fake one obviously and I'll desecrate and burn it but still I'll buy one

[first mudryk, then mount and now seako. We seem to get very lucky with attackers who reject us.

Had a tenner on Tella scoring today, he had 2 goals chalked off. One borderline offside but the other should have stood no way was it a foul. Why?!?!

Arsenal Quotes

A team can attack for too long. The most opportune time for scoring is immediately after repelling an attack, because opponents are then strung out in the wrong half of the field. All the men are expected to play to plan, but not so as to stifle individuality
