Feels he contributes less and less with every game he starts

This "let's get rid of the hipster vegan" experiment is also failing hard. We somehow managed to make the RB from the least of our worries to a position we need improvement ASAP.

Will never be a great RB,still prefer him to both Bellerin and Soares. Should get a few league games at CB before the season is over

In my view, RB has been a position where we have needed improvement for quite some time. In modern football the fullback is arguably one of the most important positions. You only have to look at what difference Tierney makes for us.

Hector is Arsenal through and through, but he hasn't been top quality for a long time.

Its the conplete opposite. We have gone from RB postion being our weleast postiob in the first 11 over the past 5 season to have two good RBs in Chambers and Cedric. Now that Hector is for the chop, the RB role isn't a issue.

Leno if doesn't come out of this dip in form and the cms in Xhaka, Ceballos, Partey and Elneny not being consistently good enough are the issues.

Disagree, I think RB is still one of the biggest issues. We need pace and Chambers doesn't offer that, I'm happy to sell him or Cedric if we get a top RB in place of Bellerin.

I'm sorry Mitch, but we cannot settle for a half-arsed CB/RB/DM hybrid good natured lad, and a washed up gent with a lovely wife. We need a proper attacking fullback. Sadly, I agree with you that Hector has given his best here.

Chambers Cafu like attacking displays of late not enough attacking enough? Struggling to name a pair of full back as good offensively as Tierney and Chambers but big difference is these are actually very good defensively too.

He was good attacking wise against west ham but that's about it it. Nice lad but I do not see anything good about him , not even for back up.

This bloke should get a run at cb, he’s an excellent technician (safer with the ball at his feet than our other cbs) not slow for a cb, good one one with wingers and a good header of the ball, surely that’s enough to give a player who was bought as a cb a go at cb. Most cb’s blossom at around his age too, they mature later.

League is very weak
Chambers linked with a new deal. Not against it, he’s always done well for us, and an extension opens up us getting a decent fee if a good offer does come in.

Only issue, with all these extensions, where and where is the big “overhaul”?

Lost a sausage bet on Xhaka 😭
He’s been alright recently but anybody who saw him get utterly obliterated by Jefferson Montero would hesitate to say he’s starting RB material. A top quality RB is still a priority provided we can sell some of ours.

truth_hurts

but Holding’s hair transplant was painless
Very odd decision if we give him a new contract. I think he's decent but we need some specialists. He is good squad cover at xb, rb and dm but I'd rather 15m

Have to get rid of either Chambers or Holding. I think Chambers is marginally better because Holding is absolutely dreadful on the ball, but I just want us to get as much money as possible, so sell the more valuable asset and relegate the other to 5th choice CB.

Problem position at RB and it needs addressing this summer.

Hectors done physically. I'm sure he'll move on this summer.
Cedric is an adequate back up.
Chambers is a jack of all trades, master of none type.

Shift Hector and Calum out and bring in a real starting quality modern RB to mirror KT on the left . We should be able to raise 25m + from those two.

Mods are unethical! Özil, come assist me please!
Wes Morgan and Robert Huth were the backbone of Leciester winning the league along with Kasper.

I like Chambers and Holding.
They both are now entering into their primes. Pook at Johnny Evans after he left United.

Not worth giving up on them. Saliba is to come and I hope he brings us to a new level. Defenders should not get complacent and should push one another.

I would prefer Arsenal sell him and Bellerin and bring in a starting quality right back. The best I have seen him play was in central midfield for Fulham, but even then I wouldn't want him playing in an Arsenal midfield.
