Of the RBs we have he's certainly the best. If only he was proper quick. Sadly he's not so to get anywhere near top 4 we need a real RB. Obviously great backup in at least 3 positions.

Much prefer him to both Bellerin and Cedric. His pace is a bit of a worry but this season he will likely have White next to him which will help as he is quicker and more mobile than Luiz and Holding.

It would make sense to give him one, considering how much we are spending to buy homegrown players. He can cover RB, CB, or emergency DM, what's not to like?

since he been RB Chambers always do something positive going forward i can see us why leaving the RB late in window or may even not buy RB but my issue is remain with Chambers he can't stay fit and his pace will affect us defensively and that's alone we have to get RB because Cedric is average.

Chambers has had a good run since he came back into the side. He was playing well pre injury under Emery as well. If we don't sign a RB though, the worry is that he's only played over 30 games in a league season once in his career. Will he hold up for 30-38 games? There's a big drop off to Cedric assuming Bellerin leaves.

Precisely. I’m seeing comments of people happy that he could be staying lol. He’s only an OK right back but in modern football he lacks the dynamism that the better full backs have. I would be much happier bringing somebody in.

Chambers has continued his excellent form from last season into this preseason season with Tierney and Pepe ( I'm expecting very big and influential seasons from these 3 top players).

I think he's alright, but watching him at RB just feels makeshift to me. I am longing for a specialist there to mirror Tierney and take our team up a notch.

Chambers performances at RB last season, were probably the best we have seen in that role for a good few years...which is kinda both good and bad, shows how we have really let that position decline recently, used to be stacked there.

He's good for 10-15 games at most as cover. He shouldn't be starting 30 games ffs
He's not good enough to play a full season. You'll probably be the first to call him dogshit when he inevitably gets exposed.
