Bit of a no win situation for Wenger. Win and while it’s a trophy it is only the league cup, Tottenham were able to win it ffs. Lose and it’s just gives his critics more ammunition.

Who cares what everyone else thinks, beating Chelsea and then City back to back in a cup competition would be a massive achievement especially with this City side on Sunday. It's a competition Wenger hasn't yet won and it's one we've won very very rarely in our entire history. Both teams will desperate to win this, especially after the way City went out of the FA Cup Pep will be hungry to get this one. The people who truly care about and understand football will respect the achievement, forget what all the tabloids and the moronic pundits in the UK say afterwards, they all hate us anyways. It'll just make it even better when we've another trophy at wembley to celebrate should we win.

We need to win (and qualify for CL). If Liverpool and Sp**s finish above us one is likely to finish outside the top 4. If neither won the FA Cup, we have a trophy to show for the season, maybe even two if we're lucky. Nobody has challenged City for the PL and it will be harder for the pundits to focus on us with any justification. We need to win this.

It may only be the League Cup, but to win it we've got to beat the most expensive side ever assembled in the history of football.

Don't think anyone would critise us for pulling this one off. ;)

The sad thing would be losing to them twice in a week. That would make us look so small time.

So hard to be optimistic.

Would prefer Ramsey in mid and Jack on right wing. But either way we'll end up again playing with 3 attacking mid and 1 attack Ramsey will have to make great effort to help auba offensively

Isn't it more of a no lose situation for both sides. Win and it'll be a lift for either team, but lose and neither are going to consider it a real disaster.

People saying this cup doesn't matter, just think about how you felt after Birmingham in 2011. Obviously that was a different situation because of the trophy drought, but losing a cup final against a rival would hurt.

heart says lets go put in a performance, forget about Thursday and win. Head says it might well be a very long day tomorrow....
Would be very sweet to deny City the chance of a trophy, at least until the end of the season.
Regardless of the clubs failings Id like them to win the league cup.

I just remember them coming in and pillaging all our players, not that they really do or need to anymore but still.
Beating those entitled Manc t**ts and wanting Arsenal to win something should be enough motivation.
