“At least we sold tierney eh”

“Kieran tierney got out at the right time.
We are shambolic when faced with a tactically astute team. Sevco under Gerrard appear to be tactically astute and im not confident about this season at all.”

“frustrating and miserable display at the back. Terrible management. Poor team selection. Worse recruitment. Absolutely eff gutted. full of rage and despair. Knew we were selling KT for months. Couldnt get a decent eff LB. insanity. I was so close to buying celtic tv today. eff that noise”

Atmosphere would be quality though home and away.

Group games against teams from the ar*e end of Europe are a struggle to watch.
Will never forget the Qarabag home game last season or the match thread. Must have been the worst game in the history of club football.

Getting Celtic would give a bit of spice i suppose but still a total mismatch and they've still got to get past Sheriff yet.

Good job Celtic got the Tierney cash

In all seriousness, you are right. We had Celtic fans on here telling us they have never been in a more stable financial position and more money in the bank.

That might be true but those accounts were from a period they qualified for the Champions League. Guess what, 2 years in a row they have failed to, and some fag paper maths tells you that if you drop their £100M revenue by £20M or so, that their £87M expenses soon show a loss before player sales.

Considering they've already spent £13M this summer, I'm not sure they will be spending most of the Tierney money after all as they now have losses to cover.
