How many of those players have like 1 goal in the calendar year? It's not about him missing 1 chance. It's about the almost Biblical scoring drought he's been in for months now.

Format is okay but 8 games is a lot for group stage.

I really like Martinelli, and looked his best when Zinny and Xhaka were with him in that side. And I think with Merino on that side it will really help him because Merino drifts wide and switches with him, whereas that isn’t really Rice’s game.

I also like Martinelli but nothing has been going right for him for quite a while. He interchanged well with Merino last night which was promising but when he's called upon to be "that guy", he fails. I hope he'll turn it around starting this weekend.

There was a moment where Martinelli robbed a Monaco player and played Jesus in and the commentator said something like well done Merino, and then in the second half when Havertz robbed a player and lobbed it over to Trossard he said well done Merino again I was like wtf Is this guy Merino's agent or something.

This is nothing on Arabic commentators who confuse two players with each other & then when they realise the mistake, try to correct it but end up merging the name of two different players.
