Get the win here, and we are likely through to the last sixteen.

Some away games for the top 8 on 13 points. Villa go to Monaco, Barca to Benfica, Leverkusen to Atleti and Liverpool play Lille, also in the top 8 and on 13 points.

We need one team on 13 points to drop points and we'll be golden if we win.

We really need to rest most of the players but at the same time have enough quality to win this and secure top 8.

If we win this are we guaranteed a top 8 finish?

No. There’s a crap load of teams 1-2 points behind us outside the top 8. I’d be pleasantly surprised if we found ourselves not needing a result even in matchday 8 which was the point of this whole thing.

How does this new setup work? Is there a playin pool outside top 8?

Yeah 9-24 will play a 2 legged knockout tie against each other to determine the other 8 teams that will together make up the last 16.

We want to avoid that 2 legged tie 🙏

Loads of tickets available for this on the ticket exchange btw if anyone fancies going.

Yeah, go on then mate I am up for it...you pay for my flight and accomodation too?

Bear in mind I will need at least an overnight stay in London too, as I will need at least 24 hours to be depressed in a hotel room after watching Havertz upfront again before having the energy for another flight home 👍

It’s worth the trip pal, I’ve got a ticket in the North Bank lower west corner. Come and join, and you’ll get to whiteness the greatest corner kick taker of all time, Sir Declan Rice, mastering his trade!

With the teams we have in our draw it would be an absolute travesty not to make the top 8

Oh I definitely think we'll make it, just that it goes to the final day (unless all the chasing teams loose which is unlikely)

When I first went to Highbury as a kid I was basically level with one of the corner flags, was in absolute awe when Henry and Pires went over to take a corner near me.

I think a win here probably gets us last 8, although it could go down to goal difference.

This is one of the easiest games we could ask for. The team is tottering from being overplayed so I don't want any of this rubbish about playing our best team. No way. We should be starting Zinchenko, Tierney, Kiwior, Jorginho, Sterling here and sharing out the remaining places amongst the players who are available.

1-0 is enough. No point in winning 3-0 then dropping points at Wolves. We can win with a couple of goals with the above. Least said.

Hope we give Timber a rest, even if that means Partey at RB. Can't wait for the team news: 'No Calafiori with the squad'.
