Right sided centre back is such an oxymoron, ffs.

I know playing on your stronger foots side makes it slightly easier to play out from the back, but just adapt to be honest.

"You look a great player Kolo, but we already have a right footer in Sol...so we are bringing in Dominic Matteo from 15th place Leeds to add a cultured left foot to the starting 11!"

Football has become a touch too pretentious these days.

I think you're ignorant of the margins that exist in elite sport. There is so little that divides the best that any marginal gain that can be found is worth pursuing.

Read about Sir Dave Brailsford and how he transformed UK cycling with his Aggregation of Marginal Gains strategy. It's all about optimising and fine tuning every tactic for every scenario to get more out of the team.

If a left CB allows the team to pass the ball out using fewer touches in less time, any sensible manager would pursue it.

We’re not likeable. If I was a neutral and didn’t support us I wouldn’t like us either. A lot comes down to the way we play. People see Liverpool as fun and us boring. It’s that simple imo. In 22-23 we were likeable and the neutrals were backing us, because we were fun. Arteta flipped the switch.

This is half baked analysis Im afraid.

Arsenal werent likeable in 22/23 either, and its also why the media enjoyed Arsenal's troubled years as well. Arsenal were also regularly attacked when they played some of the most attractive football under Wenger in the early 2000s.

The story goes back many years, I think you need to go and read up on it.

Arsenal Quotes

I've got the best goalkeeper and the best centre half. All I need are the best wingers and the best forward. It doesnt matter what the rest are like.
