Wish we could get some one like Eduardo in current window, such a shame with his injury. Loved him as a player. Zagreb used to be a decent team back then, not sure how they are doing these days.

I was thinking this earlier, when did it become a thing? Adams, Bould, Keown, Campbell, Toure all right footed (big Tone was not bad on his left either tbf).

Are you guys being dense or something?

It became “a thing” when teams started playing out from the back and opposition high press became a thing.

How is this so hard for so many to understand (not picking on you here, mainly aimed at the lame duck and trashmi and dumberiou - you just happened to be the post I clicked reply on)

A left footer on the right side can’t easily play the ball back to the keeper and vice versa.

Good answer, and yes, dense is my middle name.

It’s just the way most of the patterns of playing out from the back work - you want a leftie/rightie.

You need to be able to relieve pressure against the press by passing it back to the keeper who kicks it long, and you need to be able to play it centrally to the 6 past the press who can then spray it out wide. These all become much harder if you’re a left footer playing on the right.

Win this tomorrow and it's likely we are qualified in the top 8 with the current results

Great set of results yesterday. A win here secures us top 8 easily.

It’s such a stupid thing to say. I get he can’t say I just don’t rate Kiwior. But the idea you can’t play 2 right footed or left footed CBs is pathetic. He has played kiwi with Gabriel several times in the past
Yup. But overall so inflexible and stupid again and cost our team massively.

Looks like we may avert a a disaster in defence if we can get players back. Timber and MLS playing too many games.

Really want to see Nwaneri get 30 mins to ease back in.

A fan and a supporter behaves in different ways and what we have experienced in the last two games is pretty unique and is related to our history
