The mighty Bayern team are drawing to F.C. Copenhagen 😂 45 mins still to play. Enough football left to win this.

We’ve all been moaning and groaning about how this doesn’t feel like a proper CL tie and how much we should rotate etc. We’re just not up for it.

But for Lens? This is a top tier glamour tie for them. They’ve brought their A game and have bundles of energy. When (if) we actually decide to turn up we’ll be fine.

This complacency will not be a problem against the bigger teams in latter stages

Was on Vinai's payroll; misses 4th place trophy 🏆
If things dont improve at 2nd half just take a point and move you don't need to win all your games to finish 1st.

Still hope some improvement 2nd half just be more quick

Which is why we'll be knocked out by a Porto/Sporting/Sevilla kind. It is written.

Most the squad looks either far from sharp or half injured. Big fitness issues going on. Get Nelson on..

Mate, c'mon if he had rested Saka and the game ended in a draw people would be calling for his head.
Saka will start on Sunday I can almost guarantee it. AM acting like we haven't seen this song and dance 1000 times by now.

Saka is the type of player who really wants to play, especially the Champions League, people acting like this is still Europa. Dropping him wouldn't be great for his morale I think and is not something you can just dismiss.

Thinks he's better than Havertz.

He was a risk coming in and I imagine he was told to put his hand up the second he felt anything wrong and that’s all this was.

While I agree with most of what you said, Saka is not the kind of player who would have his moralle affected by this.

Guy has elite mental. It's his best asset.

Arteta played him because it's the CL and he wants a win and he was fit enough. Far from me to pass a chance to meme the manager, but I think it was the right call.

So you agree that Saka should've started tonight because it's better we qualify by matchday 4 and then rest players?

If Saka was on the bench or not travelled people would be losing their collective minds right now and blaming Arteta for a draw against Lens.
Saka was not fully fit, he is carrying an Achilles injury. I wouldn't have risked him before city game. Saka out for 2-3 months will derail our entire season. He should have been kept on bench and brought in last 20 mins if it was really required.

We have not learnt anything from our last Europa league where Arteta kept playing same 11 and burnt everyone down. What's the point of having a big squad when you don't have faith to rotate them during mid week?

Arsenal Quotes

Thierry Henry was very quick at analysing everything that was going on and how he needed to react. This intelligence, this capacity to evaluate, understand and question oneself, is also the mark of great players... For everyone, for the fans and for us, he symbolised the golden age of Arsenal.
