6 and a half years that’s crazy. He will he doing well if he finishes the half year. Beautiful payoff waiting when he gets sacked fair dues to him for getting the deal.

There will be clauses, he won’t get 6 year pay off if they need to sack him in 6 months.

I don’t get why people are skeptical. He’s older than Amorim and several years older when Arteta took over and more experienced first team manager than Merasca when he took over. He also come across like a bright guy. Don’t get the panic

Was on Vinai's payroll; misses 4th place trophy 🏆

Not about his ability as manager but Chelsea fans look they panicking because this club becoming like some development club rather than winning one like they used to before. Watch them again in summer they buy lot of young guys and not 3-4 ready made players that can help James Palmer Caicedo Fofana Colwill and Cucu to take further step

They must think they can generate more revenue through this transfer policy they have than actually maxing out on pitch success. The thing is you can't really do the two simultaneously as the player turnover is too high for sustained success, and it seems they've decided top maximise the balance sheet through this player trading/amortisation model.

Plus surely it's about time English managers become fashionable in this country?

It does seem a new trend may be that English managers need to go abroad to cut their teeth, and gain that continental aura.

Interesting to see whether Rosenior does make English managers this year's must have club accessory, or if he goes the same way as Will Still and back to German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese appointments again.

I think he will be just fine. I don’t see how he can be worse manager than Merasca tbh.

Would you take him if Arteta left the club tomorrow? Of course not.
I mean Artera got Arsenal as first job as manager. This is Liams 3rd. Point was he was more experienced than Artera and Merasca when he got the job. He’s also English and it’s good to have an English manager managing one of the big clubs

Arsenal Quotes

I want a fan to wake up in the morning and say, “Arsenal are playing today, I’m going to have a good time.” That guy starts his day off by thinking that something good is going to happen to him. And to do that, big clubs like Arsenal have to have the ambition to play spectacularly. Of shared happiness.
