Wanted Lampard to stay, Arteta had his number. Tuchel’s going to make our games against Chelsea a lot tougher. Not sure how far he’ll take them but tactically he’s a lot better than Frank.

I dont rate Tuchel that highly tactical wise.
Why are the media comparing him to Arteta? Arteta is on less time, less resources and actually won something.

He beat Frank too, twice, the coaching abilities between the two were clear to see.

Amen to this. I am not scared at all that Tuchel will join them though. he has done very poorly with PSG.

True. Could just be pressure and stress though, so I wouldn’t hold it against them.

Look at Mourinho, very likeable when not managing.

Tbf I’ve grown to like Jose even when he’s managing.

The guy’s dedicated his life to the troll. People take him too seriously.

Sacking a high profile manager is not cheap. Like City, with one of the richest owners in world football forking out of his own pocket, they’re not going to feel the lack of gate money as much as other clubs. Generally, there should be more players going on loan next year instead of big purchases and more clubs waiting longer to see if their manager can turn things around.

I would have laughed in your face if you told me a few months ago that both Ole and Arteta would outlast him.

Not really surprised since Chelsea are a massive club and the owners ambitions can’t be compared.

Chelsea are looking to build a squad to challenge for the title whilst Kroenke is very reactive and our maximum expectation is to challenge for a top 4 position.

Hang on, are we now not rating Tuchel because he's possibly going to Chelsea?

I seem to recall quite a few people screaming for us to bin Arteta and get Tuchel at the beginning of the month

Nah, will never forgive his Arsène insults when the fans were already starting to sh!t on him. It gave our stupid fans even more amo and ‘specialist in failure’ became a meme.

And there he was with Abramovich’s spending behind him when Arsène had had to make do with a fraction of the money. Here’s the squad building years before 2014 from Transfermarkt. Arsène made do with £12m by clever transfer dealing and Chelsea had £500m plus.

Yeah can’t say I was a fan up until the end of the 2nd Chelsea stint.

Thought he was a massive ****** but now he’s basically not trolling our manager but winding up Pep and Klopp instead I’ve sort of come round on him.

Mourinho insulted Monsieur yes, but Wengz wasnt exactly prince charming towards him either

Wind your neck in lad.

The Arsenal manager, whoever it may be can come out and call Mourinho, Klopp, Ferguson, whoever, a massive thundercunt and they'd have nothing but my full support.

We have to back our own against outsiders. No "Well he was partially at fault too."

Mourinho's a ****** and the boss should have decked him, end of.

I agree, Mourinho took it a step too far. But every top manager in PL have their Fair share of snidey comments. Mourinho a bit extreme though

Obviously it always depends on other results too but they're 2 wins of 4th, 5pts off Liverpool.

The table is a bit of a mess this year, half of me agrees with the sacking and half of me dont.

The bit I agree with is he is a manager with little experience, the part I dont agree with is Chelsea is in a rebuild with a new squad and a lot of young players.

Tuchel will come in an steady the ship, form will get better but how they have sacked him, arguably there greatest ever player is still scummy even for Chelsea.
