Chelsea FC: Enzo’s A Messca

Doesn’t Rate Any Of Our Attackers
In any normal business environment selling an asset inflated to a related party would be considered a red flag and even corporate malpractice. It’s the sort of sh*t that gets you in court. Somehow in football it happens in plain sight at the highest level of the game.

With how Liverpool city and Arsenal did business. You have to wonder what they know vs what Chelsea do lol.

What are they doing btw? Enzo is complaining about having such a big squad but demanding deadwood like Sancho along with wanting Osimhen as well? He's just adding.

Some quotes from Chelsea Reddit

Sterling is infinitely more capable and accomplished than Sancho. We are paying both Arsenal and Man U in this ****storm. It's completely bonkers.

So choice 1, pay half his wages, 150k a week, choice 2, pay 300k a week and not use him?
How is this an awful job? There was ****ing two options lol?

3rd option which was most obvious one, pay him 300K and use him instead of someone's like Sancho.

Option 3, don’t tank any leverage you have by exiling him and then have to give him to your cross city rivals who desperately needed forward depth to help their title ambitions

Third highest scorer last year. Third highest goal rate last year (.55). Replaced with a guy who hasn’t done that in 3 years (Sancho), a guy who is primarily a RW who has been injured consistently for 3 years and has 11 PL goals in his career (Neto), and a guy who is a terrible (Mudryk).
So.. the best at producing.

We didn’t really get hosed. We hosed ourselves by signing 15 worse players in his position and then keeping all of them for financial purposes instead of just playing sterling. He wasn’t great, but he’s too expensive to sell and he’s still better than mudryk.

Sterling collecting top PL clubs like dragon balls.

Sol Campbell levels of embarrassing if Arsenal win the league this year.

Imagine if Sterling Jorginho and Havertz lifting the PL title in the end of the season
This will be the biggest L ever in football history

I have never seen a club completely kill the value of players like when they announced 15 players are on the bum squad and no matter what they do, they won’t play. This lead to

Sterling, Broja and Chalobah all going out on loan with no option to buy and covering some of their wages. Enzo amateurish interviews didn’t help one bit

This is another loophole I suppose. Amortisation gets spread for every contract renewal so if they renew contracts every year the transfer hit for that year and the following years (I believe that's max 5 years after the rule change?) becomes lower.

So let's say they signed Jackson for €35m that means it's €7m against the books for the next 5 years. They renew his contract the following year when his book value is only €28m and the amortisation goes down to €5.6m a year for 5 years. If they renew him again one year later it's €22.4m spread over 5 years and it's €4.48m a year.

Why would players agree to this though?

If they're having a contract extension then its guaranteed millions in their pocket.

Jackson never has to work again in his entire life even if he gets permabenched.

These fraudsters just sold some no-name player named Angelo to Saudi for €23M. Open mockery of the rules now...pretty sure Toddy is doing some financial laundering shenanigans with his Saudi friends

mad thing is they bought him a year ago for 17m, and he was supposed to be a super hot prospect coming out of BRazil...

If it goes well for them they live in London being super rich while being young men. If they get banished Chelsea pretty much have to give them away anyway. If no one wants them, they likely get a fat payoff and then get to sign for another club for lower wages. If they get a career changing injury, they still get paid for a decade as if fit and firing.

If there were no squad size limits, it would be stupid to sign as they could be stockpiled for 5 games a year, but with squad limits, they either play or become dead weight assets they club is losing money on, so will be desperate to shift.

The very worst secenario sees them barely play but be retained, so it ruins their dreams of glory but still makes them and their families rich for life...

Arsenal Quotes

I'm prepared to be committed to the club at least until we go into the new stadium. For me, it’s important that the club goes in there and that I make sure the team are at a very good level. After that, whether it’s me or someone else, the club will be able to compete at the highest level. But for me to run away now would not be fair.
