They've won only 9 of their last 38 PL games. 3 of those was against Bournemouth

Another journalist is running with this too:

Someone at Chelsea is desperate for the media narrative to change

There isn’t one though

The guy gets minutes and does nothing with them and it largely goes ignored. Arteta does a better job with this lad though we’d currently be debating over him and Martinelli had he come.

I believe he’d look a lot better in a very confined and precise role rather than go out there and do something which he’s been subjected to at Chelsea.

It's crazy they would release this info.
Their 100M signing can't beat 50 year old Poch in a crossbar challenge?🤔
I don't think he will ever come good.

Does anyone else find it interesting how much emphasis is put on the youth of this guy and other flops in the Chelsea team (Poch is quoted as consoling Mudryk for not beating him in this challenge as he's only young)? It's one of their go-to excuses. I rarely see people making a big deal out of the fact that Saka and Saliba are the same age as this dude.

Saka and Saliba are already performing at the level of prime footballers despite being 5-8 years off so no excuses are needed.

Kai Havertz Offense League
Mudryk scoring a goal from open play before Havertz?
Cole Palmer looking better than Havertz too? Hmm, I was told a toxic environment hampers Chelsea’s players.

Murdyk may have scored his first goal in about 10 years, but lets not forget that their £100 million midfielder can't even outscore a freaking goalkeeper...

They're a lot of fun to watch, you wouldn't expect it from a team that transcended football to become an investment portfolio or whatever, but such is the state of the league.

Highlights of the cartoon:

1. City's player being bald like Pep.

2. Sp**s player being obscured by, what I can only assume is the silhouette of Arsenal's massive yet decidedly alien two-headed phallus.
