Rogers and Nelli is it then 😭
We've neglected LW for half a year. If Liverpool can sign Isak and Ekitike why the hell can't we sign Rogers and Barcola, especially as Rogers could end up being an AM option too.

It's too early to say but I don't know if Berta is a guy who's comfortable going for elite quality over quantity. We just shouldn't be signing backups, the ceiling is so low.

Rogers and Diomande would be perfect. Barcola might be too established to bring him here and not guarantee him being the first name on the teamsheet.

We're getting closer and closer to my favorite summer ever. Hope we sign this guy within the next 3 days.

Yeah I’m worried Berta is a quantity over quality guy. Last summer was a bit of a flag there but understand we needed quality depth. This summer is not the summer for that.

If he goes out and signs a Belgian league player even if he’s a backup, I’m gonna be getting a bit concerned.

And yeah Barcola and Rogers may be too wishlisty and Liverpool did have issues bringing 2 marquee players for 1 area. HOWEVER you can sign a really exciting LW on top of Rogers who actually gives us something we have been lacking, maybe not a marquee signing but an exciting one like a Nusa or something like that as the backup rather than another guy who give us classic wing play.

why we don't try for Said El Mala after he try to scam Brentford to bring his bro with him? the deal seem dead, and if Arsenal want him he'd tell his bro to f**k off he won't want to ruin this chance. he young and lot of potential play in better league even tho bumliga is not much difference that belgium league because one team dominating still the quality is better. also did i mention he like 6'2? 😅

also similar price range maybe El Mala will cost 5M more. for 35M-40M to me he more better backup option than Tzolis.

the Tzolis saga seem it's just Berta putting names out and there and when it's time to move he'll decide what to do.

With bigger talents like YanD, Barcola, Rogers, Yildiz, Nico Williams, etc on the market but at the world cup, it will be stupid to commit to Tzolis. If Berta wants early signing get Monga/16-17 years old talents in . Tzolis is Berta try to do a Gyok again, gambling on someone who looks like the best player on a weaker non top 5 Euro league. If Berta wants this kind of deal, Saibari is better, close to Rogers traits, but cheaper, then maybe can afford to get YanD which will likely break Arsenal record buy after he cooked Hincapie, showing the world he is likely the hottest winger talent available. That maybe best possible deals as I don't expect Arsenal can afford 2 of YanD, Barcola, Rogers, Nico Williams, Yildiz.

I'd be happy with Tzolis and Rogers/Barcola if it means we can also do Kroupi.

With record of bad selling; only Jesus, Trossard likely sold based on news; Dowman, Nwaneri, Eze, Madueke needs to play, I feel even 2 incoming at LW and CF is a dream, realisticaly only get 1 at LW, example :
LW - Gyok - Saka
Eze/Nelli - Kai - Dowman/Nwaneri/Madueke
Arsenal have too many thus must sell more than 2 forwards to get at least 2 new forwards.

It's still very early days but I'd be surprised if we stop at Tzolis and just one other attacker, i.e. Rogers. I just don't think this is enough of an upgrade to the squad. I think Arteta and Berta will be quite ruthless with creating the space to be able to bolster the attack. If we do just bring in two attackers then I don't think Tzolis will the one of the guys.

Is this gonna be another player Arsenalmania hates because he isn’t a flashy name they can brag about?
I think skepticism about a direct transfer from the Belgian league is reasonable. But does feel like quite a few on here have decided he's not good enough by default and that the club is carrying out some dereliction of duty by going for him.

Also think there's a narrative that title winners always just buy sure things from the PL or elite other teams but not sure that's true either.

Liverpool signed no one and won the league, spent 400m on flashy players and got worse.

People just want to ‘win the transfer window’ and brag about transfers like they’re trophies.

Totally agree!

We all want the big names. But we shouldnt be snobby and disregard player until he has kicked a ball for us.

We have good squad and manager. We are PL champion and CL finalist. There is nothing to worry about. Let it all work out.

Quite interesting that we, United and Liverpool, have opted for depth signings on the left wing over an established star. What does that tell you about the market that Tzolis, Summerville and Muniz are getting moves this early in the window? Feel like it's Barcola or nothing, and everyone wants to protect themselves if they can't land him.

Haven't checked previous pages so maybe another Bruges fan already gave some background.

But this guy is the real deal. The best winger I've ever seen play for us (I'm a Bruges fan) and that includes Perisic.
The stats don't lie. Christos ALWAYS delivers. His goal/assist output is ridiculous.
Lethal in front of goal, skilful, a hard worker. And just a genuine nice guy. I'm sorry but this guy is better than Trossard and if you ask me it's not even close.

Check our last three games to get an idea of his qualities

Obviously I'm a little biased but considering how much of a beast this guy is 40 mil looks like a steal.

Glad we finally have someone who's actually seen him play join in, welcome to the forum.

The dutch league is better than the belgium league. Shouldn't be paying more than 20-25m for this guy.

I don't see this one happening. My only rationalisation is theres no point getting scammed from a PL club for a squad level LW so we ought to take our pick from abroad to fill the position. Inflated market with limited options, this guy would just be a stop gap just so we can realise a fee on Trossard and Martinelli because both are on the brink of being worth nothing.

Arsenal Quotes

I often relive those 49 undefeated matches. I do believe in signs to a certain extent, and as I was born in 1949, I sometimes tell myself it was our destiny to lose the 50th. Those 49 matches are etched within me and within each player: it is something fundamental, a triumph born out of passion.
