we just made history and heny comes out sayiing it aint enough. great attitude for your captain to have.

for those saying that juve and rela didnt turn up, anyone ever wonder why? when we were playing our best football a couple of years ago, we would still go into europe and be nullified. well, it seems we'v learnt a thing or two because we'v stopped two big teams from playng their game. credit to wenger for that. we thoroughly deserve to be where we are now.

Yes credit to Wenger, did you read that quote he had - where he said that he was relieved as people would not think of him as being the handicap in Europe anymore? Found that interesting - I thought it was just something that got bandied around gooner messageboards on occcasion not something that would get back to him!

Good performance did what we needed too.
Got back at 3.45 in work for 8.00 this morning!
a real killer!
but def worth it.
anyone see any trouble?

My trip fine as got a police escort around etc.

The best thing about last night though was the way the players didnt overcelebrate at the end of the game.
Its like they want the big prize and beating juve is only part of the way there and they have got there minds set on winning the thing and nothing short of that will be enough

Sounds like I did the same trip as you. Flight options?
Didnt see any trouble as was with ob everywhere, but wouldnt surprise me if there was some after the game.

How **** is Turin?

Great performance though, a very little bit disappointed that we didnt nick a goal, should have really. Would have topped it off nicely.

Question is, do I book flights/hotel is Paris?

'Having showed their respect for Patrick Vieira at Highbury, they [Arsenal supporters] chose last night to belittle their former leader for departing in search of supposedly greener pastures here in the foot-hills of the Alps. Vieira was suspended but, stranded in the stands, he will not have enjoyed the filthy ditty that Arsenal fans concocted about him'

I could hear them singing something myslef but wasnt exactly sure what they were saying. ANyone care to shed some light?

Vieira plays in black and white,
His team is ****ing ****e.

Or something like that. Travelling Gooners?

I don't like taunting him but had to have a chuckle at the end of the game the pundits were trying to talk and all you could hear where Gooners taking the piss out of Vieira

Yep, thats the one, I posted it on here a couple of days ago and take a little bit of credit for getting it going the last night!

Was he shown at the game? Would have loved to see his face.

I dont see anything wrong with that. It's hardly a direct insult to the guy...

More of an observation

For the guy to come out and declare he's leaving because 'Juventus have a better chance of winning the Champions league'

I think a bit of schadenfreude is warranted...

Hahahahahaha, Juve think they can buy Gerrard! He would never leave for that soulless club, regardless of the fact that they win Lo Scudetto all the time. After winning the CL, do you think he would leave L'pool, especially when they are not far off from winning the PL?

http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2002 ... 85,00.html

This brings me on to Henry because it's hard to see him leave for Barca if we win it although it's always possible if he just wants a change.

Tried to read the Gazzetta through altavista's Babelfish. Nice read, although highly confusing ...

Juve, goodbye to the Champions

After the Inter, also the bianconeri raise flag white woman. Strongly of the 2-0 of the gone one to Highbury, the Arsenal imposes its game and 0-0. In semiend it will face the Villarreal. Expelled Nedved

TURIN, 5 you open them 2006 - One manifestation d’impotenza. Cruel and unquestionable. A Juventus exits nearly from the Champions League sottotraccia, trying not to make noise, as it wanted therefore to hide a tonfo instead uproarious. After the endured blow to Highbury it was difficult to expect l’impresa historical, never succeeded in goblet in the bianconeri, of ribaltare one 0-2. Mouth was but lawful to attend a Juve with the dribble alla, that schiumasse anger in order to try to seize in semiend the Cenerentola Villareal, than yesterday had demonstrated that us it can be rebelled alla logical and ai technical force ratios.

And instead to Of the Alps 0-0 is ended, a result that is even tightened to an authoritative Arsenal, that it has dominated to the double quantity comparison. To the Juve they are lacked legs and game in egual measure. With some ingiustificato absent once too much, on all Ibrahimovic, in nanny of tenaglia the Tourè-Senderos. The badge is to a step, but the goblet was l’obiettivo hidden head physician and neanche of the bianconeri, than instead they greet the European company to the quarters, like l’anno slid, still against one English square. Like saying, Juve bocciata from repeating.
The formations. Hat makes of necessity virtue. Outside cause for accident (Of the Piero) or disqualification (Zebina, Vieira and Camoranesi) four players hinge, replaces them with Chiellini in defense, Giannichedda and Mutu to centrocampo and Ibrahimovic in ahead. Then it astonishes all putting in punishment, (park bench) the disappointing Thuram dell’ultimo month, within the rough one, but vital Kovac. Wenger answers confirming the formation of Highbury with one single variation, the recovered left Ljungberg mezzala in place of Pires.

How much Arsenal. The first time is of marks English (but of British in field not ce n’è neanche one). The Juve tries also to leave strongly, but it is deflated to the Hat eyes like a balloon in front of a disappointed child. English son order to you, compact, they do not waste a football with professorino the Fabregas that holds lessons of English and Catalan, to choice. In ahead Henry it is elegant as a levriero, but a po' lezioso, and little evil because a its left after a stop delicious could make badly, if Buffon were not careful. It will be that the football is gialloverde, the colors dell’Arsenal from transfer, but the Juve sees it pochino, and fortune that the occasions for the Gunners captain on the feet little educates you of Gilberto Silva, the mastiff usual, and Ebouè, than however fortune teller the l’andata test of the nine after sontuosa one. Yes because the gunboats of City in attack do not give points of reference and they leave spaces inviting for the inserimenti from the rears. And the Juventus? C’è also she, sure, but seems to try more l’impresa for obligation than shared that for conviction.

Most positive it is Zambrotta, a hammer on you wrap right: it is its l’unica clear conclusion for the champions d’Italia, with a right to the flight outside little. Little Nedved, little Mutu, little Trezeguet and least Ibrahimovic. According to time. Badly in worse. Henry puts upsets and leaves on the Kovac place, Buffon in escape, shocking, puts us one pezza. Then he repeats himself on Fabregas and Ljungberg, launch in contropiede. The Juve answers with a violent right, but they of Nedved centers, than then it makes yourself to hunt (three expelled in two contests, other data on which reflecting) for double admonition. The contest slips via with l’impietosa sonorous column of "Is ridicules" of the bianconera curve, the goblet with the great orecchie for the Juventus remains stregata. :)

well just got back. not the greatest of performances but was once again well worth the trip. As for some of you asking if there was any trouble, well a few of us were having a drink before the game in a pub and a few juve fans came in looking for some ****. wasnt anything major though. just a couple of punches thrown, no stabbings or anything like what the boro fans had in rome. I thought the fans last night were great. we were very loud. its just a shame we didnt nick a goal. oh RockyRocastle, I think you do deserve the credit for that new vieira song, considering as you posted it on here a few days before we sang it out in Turin. but my favourite song of the night had to be:
"were on our way, were on our way, were going to paris, were on our way! how we get there i dunno, how we get there i dont care, all i know is we are on our way!" ...hopefully we are! another well spent European night.
