You have to feel for Glasner most of all. All that great work, winning the cup & then still get relegated to the cup Chelsea won.

I'd be sick to my stomach too.

What's more embarrassing, being relegated to the cup Chelsea won or from the cup Sp**s won? 🤔

The answer, as always, is Sp**s. Why did you make me waste my time on a answering a perfectly frivolous post?

They're going to lose both Glasner and Guehi in the summer. Totally self-inflicted wound as well. They should surely have had the funds necessary to strengthen even before we bought Eze. Just really weird to let down your manager and captain this way for no apparent reason.

Their ownership seems happy to just be in the Premier League. Probably don't want to risk that cozy midtable spot by being too ambitious.

That's so poor. Although one thing I have just thought of is whether the financial discrepancy between being in Europa League and Conference league has inhibited what they may have planned to spend. With the tv money and the Eze money you would think they should have enough to placate the manager with some reinforcements but I don't know enough about their finances over all to be sure. It's just crazy that they aren't trying to push on from winning their first bit of silverware. It should make them hungry at the ownership level.

Not sure how big the financial discrepancy between Europa League and Conference League is, but playing in the Europa League would also give them a realistic chance to qualify for the Champions League, pretty much a once in a lifetime chance for that club.

Yeah, it's an interesting "what could've been" scenario.

Parish is honestly such a bellend.

Guy spends all his time arguing with Sainsbury’s over a car park acting like that’s the barrier to them breaking into the CL.

I am hoping deep down and in private he just wanted to be in the Conference League as it increased Palace's chances of winning trophy again, as anything else to try and explain Parish this summer just makes him look like the dumbest owner ever 😅

He’s not a serious guy. When an owner is grabbing the spotlight and giving half time interviews it tells you everything. Has anyone seen Brighton or Bournemouth’s owner?

Very, very small time guy who got in thanks to taking advantage of Simon Jordan then got bailed out by Zaha for three years straight. The explosion in PL spending power post Covid compared to the Championship has carried them to a place of almost guaranteed PL stability.

Honestly them winning the FA Cup has put the spotlight on how clownish he really is.

Whispers that Bordalas will replace Glasner who won’t render in the summer. Terrific news for us terrorist fans, we will be there
