The last update from Ek didn't seem very hopeful, something to the effect of the Kroenke family saying they didn't need the money. Might be a good idea to lock, at least until something fires up again about a new fresh bid, if that happens at all.

Nothing Wrong With Me
Did you open two businesses just to sell them? Probably not. Most people who start a business or a start up hoping to get bought out have their passions in the wrong place, imo. Kroenkes are not the type to buy and sell these types of opportunities.

Kroenkes have no reason to sell the club. They aren't losing money. The Rams are valued at $4 billion, Arsenal are valued at $2.8 billion, and the Nuggets are valued at $1.6 billion. I would have to look up the other franchises they own but - Why in the world would they sell any of these franchises who currently print money?

Unlike Arsenal, I'm not losing money! :)

Why do you claim Kroenkes are not losing money when Arsenal have recorded a loss of £47.8million, after tax, for the year ending May 2020? Arsenal also has huge debt. They may not NEED to sell but that doesn't mean they wont sell when the time is right and the bid is right.

If you were burning large amounts of brain CPU cycles contemplating the whys and wherefores of either this bid or the ESL venture then you need to take a look at yerself. ;)

Never, in the field of human contemplation, has so much time been wasted by so many, over business posturing that serves only the few.

The local Arsenal fans spineless as ever I see. They should be forcing Kroenkes out but guess they are enjoying the regression of the club. Shameless.

This is such nonsense, its so easy to say these things whilst you sit so far away.

I got work 5 days a week and 2 kids, what do you really want me to do?

Imagine having to explain to your missus/job why you spent 24hrs in custody for breaking into the Emirates, ideal world the Kroenkes wouldnt own Arsenal but we havent all got time to be protesting 24/7, I'm literally within walking distance to the stadium as I type this but I wanna go home mate, not shout at a building in the cold :shivering:

Feel free to fly over and do so though..

My missus would be more than happy to have me out of the house for 24hrs tbh.

Whats happening with the Tollington...is that closed down for good now?

No idea, however I do know through work that a lot of pubs are choosing to remain shut, the ones I know about have very high rent payments which have been suspended until they re-open.

Due to the social distancing they cant fill there sites which results in less sales/customers but the rent payments staying the same, from what I was told its just not worth it financially to open right now as the rent is to high and sales to low.

I imagine pubs close to the Emirates biggest takings come from match days, so with no fans etc its probably not worth it for them yet.

Arsenal's value has gone from the 900M it took Kroenke to buy the club to around 2 Billion in 10 or so years. Doesn't exactly reflect the club's competitive performance.

What if a consortium of Pornhub, Redtube, Brazzers & Youjizz bought Arsenal?

That'd be cool! Heh hehehehehe. We could have cool sponsors on our shirt again.
