He's been one of our best performer this season.

It’s good to plan ahead, he can’t be our #1 forever. If we hadn’t spent so much on gks most of us wouldn’t have batted an eyelid over Garcia links.

He’s been one of our best players, so the criticism is harsh and the expectations that he saves pens is very odd.

1. The defence were nowhere to be seen, they had two players lining up for the shot.
2. Wissa hits it on a half volley with his back to Raya, that takes away Rayas time to set himself or judge the flight of the ball until the very last moment.
3. Timber tries to cut across and block the shot but moves into Rayas line of sight.
Incredibly harsh calling out Raya and criticising him.
People blaming Raya have obviously never played as a keeper for more than a 5 minute spell at their local Power League 5aside.

He makes it look difficult, it should have been saved. I’ve watched it many a time and it’s just poor keeping.

And no, obviously I’ve never played keeper because I actually have a bit about me on the football field.

Usually I play as an inverted regista mezzala.

I am not against signing Garcia or whatever but saying he’s an upgrade or raya or blaming raya for practically every goal because you want a new keeper is what I don’t agree with

Not a priority whatsoever but if there are opportunities to improve in the fine margins then I don't mind taking advantage. If the club just sign Garcia and that's it then yeah fans deserve to riot. I don't think that's going to happen.

I'm a big Raya advocate but here I have to agree. The penalty thing with him is also super strange as he had a big influence, saved two vs Porto and his positioning, technique and waiting time before jump was excellent. If you remember he saved a penalty against West Ham last season as well. Start of this season like someone erased these skills entirely. He looks comical on penalties. Don't understand what is going on.
And this in a knockout tournament might turn out to be disastrous.
