You are severely underestimating the stature of Donna and Courtois. Raya is a midget for a keeper.

Yeah I saw how Courtois could easily reach Kounde's winning goal in the Copa del Rey because of his stature. Do you remember Donnarumma's game in October against us? It was a ****ing disasterclass.

Raya saved us with that amazing save when it was 0-1. Blaming him for the first goal is just catching straws.

I do think there's a case where people keep telling me some of the goals Raya concedes are impossible to save, like Wissa's, but I think that's just because Raya makes them look impossible.

He doesn't make saves that no one expects him too imo. Your top keepers do.

You can't replace him though, that'll cost £60m+

Do you remember his save vs. Watkins when he had a header for open goal, or the Atalanta penalty kick? You can't argue that he doesn't make saves that no one expects him to really.

I agree with the Wissa goal, he looks like a bit of a clown there.

But the discussion was about yesterday. Dembele's shot was in the far corner, he couldn't reach it. Then he saved us from 0-2 and a certain loss over two games.

His agenda against Raya, and his lack of knowledge about goalkeeping in general, is boring now.
Peak Buffon or Neuer doesn’t save that, but yeah, Raya should have kept it out

Did you see Merinos goal against Madrid, Courtois didn’t save that, and Donnarumma didn’t keep out Villas 3rd goal, ( both from similar range) but they save the one that goes in off the post?

I don't even think Donnarumma is on another level. He definitely throws one in more than once in a blue moon.

The past 2 seasons, Ive lost count the amount of matches that Raya has failed to make a single save and he's let in goals where he should have done better.

Only GKs in the league that are worse than Raya is Onana and Sanchez. Raya is most overrated GK in PL history.
