Stay in your f**king goal what the hell you trying to do here Gabriel was under no pressure.

He been extremely shaky lately like all the team

He's a good keeper and he's done well for us but when we speak about our system and the fine margins I think you look at him today and see how you can pay. That first goal is a wonder strike but we just watched Donnarumma make a save on a very similar strike to get City 3 points against Liverpool. He might have gotten to that first one.

Then a guy who is usually so commanding in his box totally flaps and hasn't communicated properly with Gabriel and we gift a comically cheap equalizer. He's nowhere near the clown Ramsdale is but he's not been good enough in the highest pressure moments this season when he has really needed to be.

The 2nd goal...well, that was a *********** on his and Gabriels part. What bothers me more is the first goal. I don't think it was a good strike at all. What is Raya doing 4 yards off his line when they're just outside our area? He's already one of (if not THE) smallest keepers in the league, and he's making himself even smaller by being off his line.
That doesn't beat any keeper 6ft 2 or above. Hell, if he stays on his line he sidesteps and catches it. Happens all too often with him, doing me head in

Donnarumma must be awful with his passing but he best shot stopper in world these two goals it wouldn't go in if he was in goal. Raya even against Sunderland he nearly gift them goal at 0-0 he been shaky lately and there lack of communication between him and the defence

Im not listening to any Donnarumma glazing anymore. Sick of that fool. Looks petrified whenever the ball comes in the box and you might as well kick the ball out for a throw in if you have to pass it to him. **** him and his balding head. That comeover aint fooling no one

The guy has a Euro and a CL because he turns up when it matters most. PSG would have been out against us and maybe before that if not for him and that's just the truth. That save he made against Liverpool could end up being decisive. Him not being good with his feet doesn't seem to have hurt him all that much in the grand scheme of things.

He has his errors like if you press him with him having ball he likely gonna kick it anywhere but at shot stopping its fact not glazing I watch him since his young days at Milan he very good well he look likr giant so not difficult

I like Raya and I’ve defended him a couple of times, but ****ing hell, he’s turned into the Spanish Ramsdale when the pressure is really on.

Donnaruma is weak as piss in the box which is astonishing given his size, he flaps at the slightest pressure. You can't be considered an elite keeper with such a terrible command of your box. Sorry

Donnarumma ain’t all that. Can be an elite shot stopper but he’s nowhere near the level of someone like peak De Gea when it comes to shot stopping and not even in the same bracket as peak Neuer when compared with a keeper for the modern game.
People mention his champions league performances last season, but forget that he was dog **** for PSG for the majority of the season.

Absolute shambles of a mistake. No one near Gabriel who was doin his job with that header and Raya ****ed it up, he never even punched it into a safe area ffs. Absolutely shocking but it has been coming. He was a bag of nerves against Brentford.

I love how Gabriel was visibly angry with him after the error. Does he not speak up when going for these balls or what? Same thing against Sunderland in the first leg.

I just feel Arteta's energy is being transmitted to the players, the goalie even more so. This "if you can't win don't lose" is fvcking with their minds badly.

2nd goal: A more costly mistake than Ramsdale made early in that game against Southhampton in the PL run in that contributed a lot to him losing his place imo.

Out of position on the first goal too.

Its modern footballs obsession with system related ability (i.e. passing out for keeper, pressing for forwards) as opposed to the old fashioned main attributes that win football games (shot stopping for gk and goal scoring for strikers) and delivering those things in big moments.

Its just the crackpot Mikel being a crackpot.

Matches Raya has let in every shot on target without making a single save:

Palace
Man Utd (x3)
Wolves (x2)

Let 1 goal of only 2 shots on target

Bayern
Wolves

Let in 2 of only 3 shots on target

Bournemouth

Having a bag of spuds in goal would be more use.

What was he thinking coming off his line like that? There was *zero* pressure. I know folks will also point to the Sunderland incident that cost us but I was much more forgiving of that because of the amount of pressure we were under in the last 10 minutes and he had literally saved our bacon being proactive moments earlier but this? This is just implosion and a brain fart of the highest order. Professional keepers shouldn't be making this mistake.

Yeah it was worse than that Ramsdale error against a relegation bound Southhampton durIng the 22-23 run in. At least there we had to time to make right the error as it was so early in the game.

Arsenal Quotes

When we won the title on May 3-rd by beating Everton 4-0 as Tony Adams scored that iconic goal, we showed everyone and especially Manchester United that we could beat them. Thirteen days later, when we beat Newcastle 2-0 in the FA Cup final in the legendary Wembley Stadium, it was wonderful... I felt immensely proud for the team, for the club: this was the fantastic response I was able to give to those who had put their confidence in me, as well as those who had put me through all those difficult weeks when I first arrived.
